In the first hour, hosts Heather Karrow and Dr. Chris Burgwald began by visiting with Sr. Kathleen Atkinson about a ministry she began to help those in need in Bismarck called Ministry on the Margins. It was then time for your calls during our "Straight Talk" call-in segment. Listeners directed questions to Dr. Burgwald and Fr. Darin Schmidt on topics including: what to do with Protestant children's bibles that are in a parish faith formation classroom, what a person needs to do to complete Confirmation as an adult, and how purity of heart relates to living a sexually moral life.

In the second hour, hosts Fr. Richard Kunst and Fr. Ryan Moravitz joined David Borlaug to talk about the upcoming Bismarck-Mandan Symphony Orchestra performance for January. Our hosts then took listeners on our 10-Minute Tour of local events. The Diocese of Duluth's Deacon John Foucault spoke about a popular program in Duluth called Theology Uncapped and plans for helping it to continue to grow. Finally, Fr. Rich and Fr. Ryan spoke with Susan Safford of the Diocese of Rapid City about an opportunity to refuel our spiritual lives with the source and summit of our Catholic faith.

Listeners asked questions on topics including: what the Church teaches about kids playing Mass at home, how we keep the joy of the Christmas season alive as we move into Ordinary Time, and what each of our hosts' favorite childhood faith memory is.

In the second hour of our first "On the Road" feature of Real Presence Live, Executive Director Steve Splonskowski and Programming Coordinator Brandon Clark spoke with Ben Frost, Director of Adult Evangelization at Holy Spirit Church in Virginia, MN, about social media, the New Evangelization, and if the two can work together. Steve and Brandon then took us on a 10-Minute Tour of local events. Martha Cook joined our hosts to talk about the Hearts Afire parish-based programs and how they have touched her life. Finally, our hosts visited with Bob Seigel, Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Council #4463, about appreciating our clergy and a great opportunity to do just that.

In the second hour, hosts Michael Wilde and Fr. Will Thompson spoke with the Diocese of Winona-Rochester's Fr. Timothy Biren about why we describe so many aspects of our faith as mysteries. Our hosts then took listeners on a 10-Minute Tour of local events. Finally, Brian Kusek and Eric Klein joined Michael and Fr. Will to talk about a way young adults can relax with friends, have a beer, and gain insights to our faith at the same time.
