When I was saved by Jesus I was also called to follow Jesus!

Identify your leaders by their Christ-like character, not merely by their titles.

As a Jesus follower: I do not belong to this world. I have to be aware that there are those who would lead me astray. Therefore as a Jesus follower: I must learn and live scripture by being coached by those who learn and live scripture.

Join together in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do.

Following Jesus is a journey made up of the single steps of faith. When I stumble I can get back up, re-commit and continue to follow.

We claim to trust Jesus, but instead we trust ourselves; however, a follower trusts Jesus and, in turn, he entrusts us with his mission.

The truth of this world: Do good then you will get good things. The deeper truth of Jesus: Give up your good then you will be given the best.

What is keeping you from a 100% surrender? Will you Surrender?

Jesus wants followers who follow because of love.

“Follow Me” means: I once was sick but now Jesus is healing me. The church is a hospital. Follow me means that I am invited to reach out to those Jesus assigns. The church is hospitable.

Jesus is not interested in spectators. Jesus wants followers who are committed to do life with Him.

Jesus calls us to follow Him. That means doing life being led by Jesus. To follow Jesus results in a new life purpose. To follow Jesus means letting go of “everything”.
