In challenging times like this, is hope something you just have to hope for or are there things we can do to set ourselves up for hope? Do relationships have to be strained, or are there things we can do to have deeper and richer friendships than ever?

Is faith a feeling, a vibe, wishful thinking, or could faith be something more substantial? This week we’ll look at Hebrews 11 and discover how faith can be founded on something so much more!

The Spirit Speaks! God has given the church beautiful faculties by which our lives and the life of the church can be guided, but where would we be without the Spirit? While we very much wish God had used the book of Revelation to encode instructions for how a church ought to innovate for Fall 2020 during the Covid-19 crisis, He seems to have omitted those critical instructions. So… we discover, discern, discuss and passionately invite the Spirit to speak into the life of our community… Are we listening?

In the middle of a time of uncertainty, how do we hear from God as a community? This week we reflect on the importance of balance and persistence as we continue to walk into everything that God has for us.

His ways are not our ways… it’s hard to get a snapshot of God’s will for our lives when we’re so used to taking selfies. This week we looked at Romans 12:1 and discussed how offering ourselves as living sacrifices is the best possible path to enjoying true, love-filled, vibrant, holy, luminescent, glorious, eternal life, joyful, radiant LIFE! As we seek God for next steps for our community, we want to lay down our peeves and preferences to get to the heart of what He’s calling us to together.

How can we know the will of God? The months ahead are filled with questions... for us, our vocations, our families and our church. How can we make decisions about the days ahead when we have know idea what the future holds? How do we peer into the fog to find God’s perfect will for our lives?… Or, maybe there’s a better question… how can we become people, more perfectly suited to knowing it? How do we become “know-ers?” We’ll find some answers together in Romans 12.

Why do we do this God-thing when it often seems like the people around us have it so much better than we do?? Join us in Psalm 73 as we meditate with the psalmist on what it is that we really want in our heart of hearts.

What do you need to know about God to become a person who does not run from the battle? Today we look at II Sam 23:9-10, and we discuss how we can fight the battles that we face in this life, in a heroic way with God.

This week, Kathleen leads us through Psalm 27, and shares with us how the Lord used this Psalm to give her hope and strength during a very difficult time in her life. She encourages us to wait on the Lord, and to desire His presence above all else.

This week, we take a look at Psalm 127, and Matthew helps us wrestle with the idea of security, and where true security lies.

”How Do I Say This?” This week, we’ll look at another layer in Psalm 96. We’ll take some of the unique words from the psalm that describe our mission to share His love and connect the dots to the amazing ways Jesus showed us how to humbly walk it out! Have you ever wondered how to say it?

This incredibly hopeful Psalm has sometimes been called the missionary hymn! In this psalm God is described as good, glorious, splendorous, marvellous, strong and beautiful… so why are we so hesitant to talk about him? What holds you back from “declaring His glory to the nations.

In one of the most difficult moments of David’s life, he shows incredible emotional maturity. In this message, we talk through some important steps on the journey from a place of emotional distress to a feeling of safety and how to get there even when you can’t change your circumstances. How can you go from destress to safety when you can’t change your circumstances?

On this Father's Day, Ahren walks us through I Tim 4:7-10, which compares us to spiritual athletes. Tune in as he encourages to compete in a way that will help us win the game of life.

Jake takes us through the experience of the Psalmist in Psalm 23, following the Lord His Shepherd. Asking the question: what does this look for us today? Jesus still invites each one of us to a new life, with Him as our Shepherd, thousands of years later.

From thankfulness for what God has done, to a reflection on his character and how we fall short, to a confirmation of our security in God's love, ending in a meditation on God's sovereignty. Join us in Psalm 103 for the next part of our journey through the Psalms as we wrestle alongside the original authors with the vagaries and incertitude of life and hear God speak into this moment.

This week in our Psalms Series we’ll be diving into Psalm 29. There are moments(and this might be one of those weeks) when the world seems out of control and powerful unseen forces seem to be conspiring to tear our society apart, Psalm 29 assures us of God’s power over all and His ability to give strength and peace where it’s needed. Please give Psalm 42 a read before Sunday morning… get it rolling around in your heart. We’ll be speaking from The ESV(English Standard Version) if you want to match language. What do the Psalms call us to ADMIT to God and to ourselves? How do they help us to see things about God that invite us to ADORE Him? What do they show us about life to which we can ASPIRE!
