It wasn't as easy as before, but Jimmie Johnson is in double digits with his victory at Dover.  Patti Rodisch and Dustin Parks are all over the victory that put the No. 48 in commanding lead of the Chase.  Not only that, but it was an intense weekend of action at the Monster Mile.  Tyler Reddick took his second victory of his career on Friday, then a teammate battle led to controversy in the end when Chris Buescher made contact with Bubba Wallace.  Buescher won, but Wallace wasn't happy. In between the races, the news outside of the track was just as big.  While still recovering from blood clots, Brian Vickers will still be involved in the sport, signing on with NBC Sports for a few races.  While Johnson was celebrating his win, his penalty from Charlotte regarding manipulation of the side skirts, is officially set for appeal. The best weekend of racing has passed, and what a celebration it was.  Dustin Parks and Patti Rodisch try to break down all that happened.  It started with the Indianapolis 500, as former NASCAR and F1 star Juan Pablo Montoya brought Penske back to victory lane at Indy, his second win in the grand race. To cap off the night, the long 600-mile marathon at Charlotte saw the victory come down to a critical stop, and who had enough fuel to make it to the finish.  It would be Carl Edwards seeing his first Charlotte win, his first with Joe Gibbs, and a sweep of Cup competition for JGR in the last two weeks at NASCAR's home track. In all of this, the newest list of inductees to the NASCAR Hall of Fame were announced, with a few surprises that both made the cut, while others were left to wait again. Finally, a look ahead to the Monster Mile, and the triple-header at Dover.  Tune in to hear it all.

Saturday night was a night of fun antics when it came to the race sponsor, but the action on the track was as intense as NASCAR has expected.  Patti Rodisch and Dustin Parks will look back on the two nights that Kansas hosted action. The Truck race itself was drama filled, with trucks running out of fuel with laps winding down, and the dominant truck left to wonder what may have been.  At the end of it all, Matt Crafton continued the defense of his two-consecutive championships with another win on the year, and now more momentum heading into Charlotte. Then came the late night on Saturday that saw references to sponges, pineapples and Krabby Patties.  But in the end, it was Jimmie Johnson taking home another Kansas win, and his third on the season, which now puts him in the Chase lead heading into NASCAR's All-Star Week. Well there may not be any sombreros or cerapes worn, least not according to the hosts, but Dustin Parks and Patti Rodisch appropriately are partying on this episode.  Talladega turned into a big party, especially with who went to victory lane.  Junior Nation is celebrating as the No. 88 is locked into the 2015 Chase with his victory at the big track.  Although the race was marred by one big wreck, it was also marred with timid drivers, and the lack of taking the chance to make a move late. Did this hurt the race?  Or is this how the current rules dictate racing to be?  These two will discuss the pros and cons of what was seen on Sunday. It has been a long couple weeks for NASCAR, as both the good and bad have occurred in the sport, and it all revolved around one man. Patti Rodisch and Dustin Parks will look back at the Bristol weekend, a race that honored Steve Byrnes and his battle against cancer, but then will turn to the Richmond weekend, the first weekend following the tragic passing of Byrnes on April 21.  These two will look back at his greatest moments in the sport as a broadcaster, and how much he loved the sport.  Byrnes is a fixture in the garage, and not having him around doing interviews or pit cycles will feel very different.  But, as his final tweet pointed out before his passing, he "Went The Distance."
