Martinsville alone has these two fired up.  Patti Rodisch and Dustin Parks are going to discuss all that happened at the Paper Clip, including the melee that happened to decide the winner, and also take out every potential winner to that point.  It's been the talk of the week in NASCAR, and these two are certainly ready to give their opinions on what happened. WIth the week off, Patti and Dustin now have the chance to take in the first six weeks of the season, looking across the board at what has happened in all three series.  Surprise winners, improved drivers, lack-luster performances, and absolutely unexpected on-track incidents. After an odd week of technical troubles, a guest host, and a rain-shortened race, things return to normal for the most part this week on Lugnuts and Horsepower. Patti Rodisch and Dustin Parks are back at their usual posts as they discuss the aftermath of California, including Johnson somehow hanging on to a top-10 run and Stewart grabbing his second win of the season. News of the week includes Bruton Smith making the decision to change the racing surface at Bristol, following fan input, and also the new format to the Sprint All-Star Race in May.  There's even going to be some discussion of IndyCar as a special guest will join these two on the air. Finally, it will be predicting who will be the "hot dog" of Martinsville as both will give their predictions for both the Truck Series and Cup Series events at Martinsville. It's a normal 6 p.m. ET/5 p.m. CT start for this week's episode, one that will be very intriguing and very informative.

The other big topic of discussion will be Bristol, as a lack-luster crowd had Bruton Smith "embarrassed" with Sunday's race.  What can we expect as far as possible changes for the fall? Finally, these ladies will made their decisions for Sunday's Auto Club 400 victory.  Don't be surprised if Dustin chimes in as well to say what he's seen in Las Vegas, and give his choice for Sunday as well. Thunder will be rolling this week for the NASCAR crew as the track on the schedule is the bull ring in Bristol.  500 laps means 500 opportunities for chaos. That's all the motivation Patti Rodisch and Dustin Parks need to get rolling on this week's episode.  But, it's not the only part of the show.  The discussion will begin with the ruling by the NASCAR appeals board to uphold the penalties against Chad Knaus and the No. 48 team, along with the final appeal that Rick Hendrick has already made to the higher sanctioning body. Not only that, but who would have thought a one-car team would be in the news this week as Robby Gordon, driver of the No. 7 Speed Energy Dodge, announced a deal with Bigfoot, the original monster truck, to run a special Speed Energy Bigfoot, which will be the 19th truck in the fleet.
