Test your own actions. Don’t COMPARE yourself to somebody else—Gal. 6:3-4.2. Carry your own LOAD—Gal. 6:5.3. God cannot be FOOLED—Gal. 6:7a.4. People REAP what they SOW—Gal. 6:7.Application: You can IGNORE it and reap the consequences or you can LEVERAGE it and reap the benefits—Gal. 6:8. Here’s how to leverage the principle:1. Take responsibility for your piece of the “chaos” pie.2. Do the things you should have been doing all along. “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Gal. 6:9, NIV).

When Jesus came, everything changed! When Jesus comes into a person's life, everything changes!The cross is the dividing line in our lives. The cross is the bridge from death to life (B.C. to A.D.) By dying for us on the cross, Jesus took our sins and made a way for us to have life eternal with God. We are reconciled to God by accepting God’s Son by grace through faith. Do versus Done: We don’t cross over from BC to AD by something “we do.” We cross over because of something that God Jesus has already done!

Paul OBEYED God. He responded to revelation.2. COMPROMISE was not in Paul’s vocabulary.Galatians 2:11-211. We are justified by faith in Christ. On January 20, I (Pastor Bob Lee) had prepared to preach a message from Galatians 2:1-21. But during worship, I was overwhelmed by emotion and could not preach. January 20 was the first anniversary of the death of my step-father and as the praise team led the song "Amazing Grace" I was just overwhelmed. Our deacons surrounded me with grace and Rev. Derek Gordon, led by the Holy Spirit, preached a powerful message in both services. So this is the context of the 1/20 message. God''s grace is indeed sufficient! Pastor Bob Lee

Rev. Derek Gordon preached on the Sunday after Christmas and continued in a two-part message from the story of Lazarus.

On Christmas Eve, Pastor Bob Lee wrapped up our series "Christmas at the Movies" with a message on reconciliation. In Christ, we are reconciled to God our Father in heaven and we are reconciled to one another. We always (Psalm 105:4) have this hope through the finished work on the cross. Pastor Bob used two clips from the 1990 film, "Home Alone" to help people seek reconciliation in their relationships.

Rev. Derek Gordon continues in our series "Christmas at the Movies" and uses clips from the movie, "Elf" to illustrate how we can leave a legacy by walking with Christ.

We used film clips from the Grinch as a parable for our teaching.
