Lcc: Her Ministry

As a leader, we never stop learning! These last twelve weeks, we have explored some of the important principles for leading women. This week is In Conclusion. We pray this study has been profitable for all of us! Thank the Lord for what He has done and will continue to do in and through us!

After a year of prayer for Her Ministry, Bible Study, we certainly understand its importance. Pray, pray, pray is our chapter of discussion this week and another foundational quality of a good leader.

If you have a heart to lead, then you must lead with LOVE. In the chapter, Love God’s People, we will discuss how ministry can bring people together and how sometimes we will draw on the Lord to love even in difficult situations.

Gossip is hurtful, always hurtful. This chapter explores how to lead and protect our sisters in Christ.

Do you ever find yourself making excuses or defending your actions? It’s human. We all have weak areas, and we also have people watching us. Listen into why we don’t need to defend ourselves. 

Struggling with confidence can cause us to take credit for what Jesus does through us. Gail Mays’ chapter places things in their proper order. We don’t own anything, not even God’s people.

“Keep the Right Perspective on Trials and Pain.” This chapter may cause us to look deeper at the difficult times in our lives. God uses everything, even when we struggle. Sit down, take a few minutes, and see what God will do!

Leadership principle #101, Maintain a Strong Devotional Life. I don’t know anything more important in the Christian life than our time with the Lord. We lead out of what He shows us in our time with Him. Listen in this week for some encouragement.

We will explore Walking in Victory, over doubt, our past, and our thoughts. It is a lifelong struggle but something we can do with the Lord’s help. Join us!

This week’s chapter is entitled Deal Thoroughly with Sin. Keeping your heart and mind clean before the Lord gives God free rein to use you powerfully. What an important message for all!

This summer, we are exploring leadership and all it entails. Join us each Friday as we study the chapters of Gail May’s book Principles of Leadership for Women. This week, we will look at the introduction and first chapter, A Call to Ministry and What is Required of Me?
