Is prayer our first response to the challenges life presents? There is no part of life that can't be transformed by faithful prayer. As we conclude our series in James we see more about the care and prayer that we should have for one another.

As we continue our series in James we are encouraged to Stand Firm. To show patience and perseverance in the face of life's challenges.

Sometimes, as in all families, we fall out with one another and squabble over differences. It's nothing new - the early church struggled with just the same problem. James, though, helps us to both understand the internal causes and offers us clear directions to become people whom God's Spirit can inhabit and through whom God can shine his light.

Distractions! Distractions! - Life is full of them... In this story we see how Mary choose the better option by spending time listening to Jesus. We're challenged to do the same, to take time to be with Him and to listen for His voice

Our tongue has so much influence on our lives, it has the potential for good but also for bad. In this talk Jo brings us three great applications for our lives from this passage in James..
