Prosperity may provide the greatest test of our faith.

The "Shema" represents our total commitment to God.

The Ten Commandments tie love of God and neighbor together. They set apart God's people as those who love God enough to live in God's ways.

Never before has a god behaved the way our God acted with Israel. There is no one like God.

Israel will be known by the wise laws they have received and their willingness to live by them.

The trives who already have land are to fight with their brothers until every tribe has its assigned land.

Strangely, God makes Edom, Moab and Ammon off limits to Israel's invasion forces, thus teaching them about the nature of their identity as God's people. They are only to go where God sends and to do what God says.

One important thing to realize is that God is not only with us, God goes before us on our journeys.

Conclusion of the series on the next century

Centennial Celebration Sunday. David McNitzky preaches on "The Posture" Theme: We are to receive the kindom, mot manufacture it. God sets the agenda and we follow.

God's goal for us is to assist in the repairing of a broken world (restoring the kingdom).

This sermon concludes the series on The Sermon on the Mount. We are building a life. I t is best to build on the foundation of Jesus.

We either follow the way of Jesus or the way of the world.

Through prayer, we work with God to help the world.
