On this edition of Next on the Tee my guests are Golf Pride Marketing Channel Manager Charlie Parker, Top Instructor and regular co-host of The Morning Drive on The Golf Channel, Travis Fulton and 4 time winner on the PGA Tour Tim Simpson. Charlie gave us an update on the great Align grips they have coming out in late April, plus some of their other popular grip styles including their Tour Sensor putting grips. We also talked about why it's important to be properly fit for your grip size and how often we should regripping our clubs. Travis Fulton shared thoughts on some of the cool new products he saw at this year's PGA Merchandise Show. He talked about why it's easier to build your game around being a great driver of the ball vs. a great putter. He talked about why he believes Keegan Bradley will win again before Tiger Woods or Phil Mickelson. He also shared a couple of tips for a great pre-shot routine and how to get the ball close on bump and run shots. Tim Simpson told great stories about his comeback

On this edition of Next on the Tee my guests are Top PGA Instructors Rob Strano and Jim Estes.  Rob shared his stories from this year's PGA Mercahndise Show including some of the cool new products he saw there. We also got a couple of new cool putting drills to try, some tips on how to improve our mental approach by doing less negative self talk, and hear about his conversations with Hal Sutton and Brad Faxon. Jim Estes updated us on the great work he and his team are doing helping to teach or re-teach the game to our wounded service veterans through the Salute Military Golf Association (www.smga.org). He also shared thoughts on some of the things he saw at the PGA Merchandise show and stories from his experience last year finishing as low club professional at the Senior PGA Championship.

We'll hear what it was like being paried with Ben Hogan, starting the final round 1 stroke ahead of Arnold Palmer, and trying to hold off a charging Jack Nicklaus in Jack's backyard at Columbus Country Club. We'll also talk about the influence that Ben Hogan and Dr. Cary Middlecoff had on his career. Plus, playing in the 1967 Ryder Cup in his home state of Texas. Rhonda Ferguson will also join me and we'll discuss her college days playing at the University of Florida. We'll talk about teaching juniors and how she is able to keep them engaged in the game, how she teaches them to handle pressure and what she's doing to bring more women into the game. Rhonda also owns a golf course down in Jacksonville, Florida called River Bend Golf Links. We'll talk about what's inovolved with owning and marketing a course as well.

We kickoff 2018 with two of the best caddies of all-time, Dennis Cone and Russ Holden telling their stories. Dennis was inducted into the Caddie Hall of Fame in 2011. He is the Chairman of the Professional Caddies Association and one of the great story tellers you'll ever hear. Russ, caddied for Bernard Langer for many years and was on his bag at the Masters when Bernhard won there. He also established the Caddy For A Cure foundation. We'll hear their stories and what's ahead for both them in 2018.

Cindy Miller - Cindy and I discussed her program, "Pursuing Your It" which helps develop whatever it is that you're passionate about. We discussed, when looking for an instructor how important is it to match your personality type to the personality of the teacher you're considering. She also shared a great tip on how to practice indoors over the winter using marshmallows instead of golf balls. Eric Johnson - Eric and I discussed the future of Tiger Woods and how it's not even close that Jack Nicklaus is by far the greatest player of all-time. We also talked about Bernhard Langer's longevity and dominance on the Champions Tour plus how to keep the ball in the fairway and out of the leaves this Fall/Winter.

Magazine naming him one of the Top 10 Most Innovative People in golf this year, his thoughts on the USGA & the R&A needing to dial back the golf ball to save on real estate and maintenance plus an update on the golf course renovations he's currently working on. Mitch shared his story about why he left acting and Hollywood in favor of braodcasting. We talked about his recent trip over to Tobacco Road Golf Club and staying in the new Stewart Cabin. He also talked his interview with Adam Rolston of The Longest Hole and his walk across Mongolia hitting golf shots. Mitch exclusively plays hickory shafted clubs now and he shared his emotional connection when he's playing some of the most historic golf courses around the world.  Top 100 Instructor Brady Riggs joined me and shared tips for how to hit better chips shots from just off the green plus ways to better controll the ball from 50 yards in and how to correct that slice.

On this edition of Next on the Tee I'm joined by LPGA Class A Instructor and Author of the book, "A Girl's On Course Survival Guid to Golf", Christina Ricci plus PGA Professional and author of the book: "Golf is My Life, Glorifying God Through the Game", Jon Decker. Christina Ricci - Christina talked about how she was able to go from just learning the game in 2000 to a 5 handicap in 2005. She also talked about how she put her books together with step by step pictures so you can take it out on the course to the driving range and easily follow the process to hit better shots. We got a couple of tips about how to make sure our takeaways remain on plain plus why picking out a specific target is so important on each shot. Gail Graham - Gail shared her stories about how she learned the game, what got a Western Canadian girl to play her college golf at Lamar University in Texas, playing alongside Dawn Coe-Jones, the pressures of Q-School, winning her first tournament on the LPGA Tour and winning the 1997 Australian Ladies Masters. Bill Abrams - Bill talked about his days as a Junior golfer and how the prepared him to play at the college level. We also talked about how the teaches Junior golfers today to be patient and have fun on the course. He also shared tips about having a good routine, how to hit better chip shots and have the correct posture.

Maureen shared stories from her time at the University of St. Andrews and Lamar University in Texas. She was one of the first 2 women to ever get recruited to come over and play college golf on a scholarship. We also talked about the young guns taking over both the PGA and European Tours, her reaction on the Solheim Cup and what happened at the Ladies Evian Masters over in France. Maureen also shared a tip help us play better shots out of a fairway bunker.

On this edition of Next on the Tee my guests are Top Instructors Chris Czaja, PGA Teacher of the Year for South Florida, and PGA Tour Pro Allen Miller. Chris is a top teaching pro and we'll talk about how to improve your short game and sink more putts. Allen played on Tour for 15 years during the 1970s through mid 80s. He played his college golf at the University of Georgia and was a 3 time team captain and a force in the SEC in the late 60s. He won the 1974 Tallahassee Open and finished 15th at the 1975 Masters. We talk about all of that and much more.
