He has refereed in the Big Ten Conference, Big East Conference, ACC, Missouri Valley Conference, Mid-American Conference, and others. He officiated the NCAA Tournament the last 10 years of his career, including the Final Four Semi-Final in 2008, the Elite Eight in 2005, and four Sweet Sixteen appearances. He was the Commissioner of the NCCAA/NAIA Crossroads League from 2008 to 2015 before taking his current role with the NCAA.
