Part of the tension of living in this Kingdom of the now and not yet means that we will encounter mystery. Sometimes we will experience troubles while at other moments we will experience incredible blessing. This simply doesn't mean that God chooses to change His mind or that He's a hopeless schizophrenic, but it reveals the true reality we find ourselves swept up into everyday. In this weeks podcast, Viv, leads us through this present reality and how it has an affect on our prayers for healing and breakthrough. Hear from her years of experience and insight into why healing doesn't always happen even though Jesus has already provided for it. One thing is for sure -- God is always good!

Healing was such an intrinsic part of Jesus' ministry on the Earth in His time. This week Steve expounds on the unequivocal nature of God's heart towards healing. He not only teaches from a scriptural basis but from first hand experiences as well. As Jesus healed then, He surely heals now. Jesus promised that in this life we would face troubles, and at times those troubles can seem almost insurmountable, but He also promised that He would never leave us or forsake us and that the battle is His. From a place of extreme vulnerability, Georgia shares a personal story of how God met her right in the midst of her battle. Even in the face of potential loss she found that there was joy to be found and that Christ's victory was her victory. From this vantage point she could fight this battle and win. And from that very same vantage point we can in turn fight our battles as well!

Looking around us it doesn't take very long to recognize that the Earth is in a perpetual state of conflict: wars are being fought on multiple fronts; people are fighting for their lives amongst widespread disease, famine and poverty; racism, sexism, and religious oppression still run rampant in all manner of society, and drugs and gang violence continue to plague urban centers all over the planet. What could be the cause of such evil? Could it be man's ever leaning towards power, greed, and hedonism or is there more to the story -- something else...something unseen. At one point or another everyone has felt that feeling of being stuck in the in-between. Our vision is blurred, the end is nowhere in sight, and we can't quite remember why we've started on this road to begin with. Continuing our series on The Kingdom of God, Karen hits home with with this message on the radical middle. As a kingdom people we are caught up in this tension of the now and the not yet. The kingdom is here but not yet in its fullness. We are made anew in Christ but the world around us is still broken and deteriorating. Find out what this means for us in the 21st Century and how it's quite similar to what God communicated to the Israeli people over 2000 years ago through His prophets. We may find that the promise is better than we have even imagined or thought!

The Kingdom of God -- this golden thread sewn into the centerfold of the Bible is hinged on this one word: 'covenant'. From Genesis to Revelation we see this word played out and always with humanity on the breaking end of it. But God doesn't stop there. He continues to pursue us even though we break our side of the bargain time and time again. This is why we worship Him! Tune in this week as Steve reminds us of this covenant keeping God that never stops pursuing us in love. As the Apostle John so poignantly points out, "We love because He first loved us". It's because of this love that we respond in turn with love and devotion, and it's because of this love that fear, worry, and anxiety all lose their power in the presence of our praise. Phil's back! And this time with the second talk in our series on The Kingdom of God. Picking up where Steve left off, Phil presents us with a brilliant summation of the kingdom from an Old Testament perspective. From the Exodus to the Davidic Rulership of Israel -- to the diaspora after the destruction of Jerusalem -- to Daniel's vision -- Phil gives us a more general outline of how the Kingdom has been increasingly winding up towards completion even though times and events have suggested otherwise. Be encouraged as we are reminded that the Kingdom is here and is only heightening in its fullness as the time of the King draws near!
