Corinthians 9: 23-27 Fading Crowns and False Finish Lines... 1. Running with the Wrong Crowd is an Empty Pursuit! Simple Truth: Who we run with is just as important as where we are running! 1 Corinthians 9:24 There is no prize in running in the wrong direction! Philippians 3:14 “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus” 2. Running without Training is an Empty Pursuit! Simple Truth: You can’t win if you don’t train! 1 Corinthians 9:25 Self Gratification is the opposite of Self Discipline / Self Control 3. Running without a Purpose is an Empty Pursuit! Simple Truth: We are all created with an innate desire to WIN! The pursuit with no Purpose – No destination is Empty!

The Path that God has laid down for us is a PATH marked with PASSION! Information without Revelation leads only to a measured response! Information with Revelation leads to a Passionate response! The Path that God has laid out for us is Marked by PASSION! 1. Passion creates space For God to move in! 2. Passion is our response in the space we create! Passion is an unmeasured response! King Solomon sets up the temple with the priests and sacrifices! This was not a passive response - this was not a measured response! This was a passionate response to the greatness of GOD!

Real Freedom is a Lifestyle and Real Freedom is only Found in Jesus! One Powerful truth – The Path God has designed for truly living is a PATH of FREEDOM! 1. His life was a mess! 2. When Jesus Showed up...Real Freedom Shows up! 3. Real Freedom – is a lifestyle not a license! 4. Real Freedom gives real purpose to life! Real Freedom speaks life to dead things! Real freedom impacts people! Real Freedom is a Lifestyle and Real Freedom is only Found in Jesus!

A Life Led by the Spirit is a life Filled with the Spirit! God’s plan for The Church - We are the Church – FILLED! POWERFUL TRUTH: Jesus did not come so you could experience a little bit of him! Jesus did not come so you could have a 30 day trial! He came to Fill your life with POWER! He came to give you life and live in you! Whatever God Fills, God consumes.... 5. The Path to receiving the Holy Spirit 1. Ask 2. Surrender 3. Get hungry for Jesus not tongues 4. STEP OUT IN FAITH AND SPEAK IT OUT **There must be an active response to FAITH!!!

Information without Revelation leads only to an alternate Destination! Information with Revelation leads to Divine Destination! If One of the greatest struggles we face in life – is CLEAR DIRECTION... then God’s Plan is to give us a clear Path! CLEAR DIRECTION! If I want to be led by the Spirit, then the Holy Spirit has to be moving in my life! A life led by the spirit is a life filled with the spirit! If we want to know what the PATH is then we need the Holy Spirit to reveal the PATH to us! (we need a greater revelation) The Path that God has chosen for each of us is Spirit LED and Spirit Empowered! 1. The Path is a CLEAR PATH: (FIRE LIGHTS THE WAY!) 2. The Path is a POWER FILLED PATH: (Fire is POWERFUL!) When the fire falls: 2 Responses – run from the fire, run to the fire! - some are afraid – some are attracted! it’s not your job to figure it out – it’s your job to speak it out!

My OBSTACLE is nothing more than an OPPORTUNITY for God to show up! IT’S YOUR PERSPECTIVE THAT DETERMINES YOUR RESPONSE TO AN OBSTACLE! Falling is not Failing... 2 different things! Both can be an obstacle! TRUE REPENTANCE IS OUR RESPONSE TO BEING CAUGHT! How we respond to falling reveals the condition of our heart! YOUR HEART WILL REVEAL WHETHER YOU GET UP OR STAY DOWN! NOBODY LIKES GETTING CAUGHT! Getting caught in sin is not Fun! ***Getting caught is the first step to getting free! Getting free is the path to not failing! 1. The Perspective of Failing! 2. The Posture of Failing! (Failure is not Final – so get back up) Your posture to failing will either pick you up or push you down! A POSTURE OF GRACE!!!! We cannot stand on our own...we stand under Grace! 3. The Response to Failing! What looks like failure may be a set up for God to show up! When we refuse to allow our situation to dictate our response, but we fix our eyes on Jesus the one who is able to change our circumstances in an instant.

Community...The Struggle is REAL! 1. A lack of Real MEANINGFUL CONNECTION! 2. A lack of Real LASTING COMMITMENT! If I want to Be a Part of Community then I need to invest in Community! 3. Don’t settle for Surface Living! If I want Community to GROW beyond the Surface, then I need to go beyond the Surface!

What’s Next? That’s what we all want to know!!! Its shaped by what we see. **Our perspective is what can limit the will of God for our lives! My location has purpose! Faith sees that my OBSTACLE as frustrating as it may be, is nothing more than an OPPORTUNITY for God! FRUSTRATION will cause you to respond according to where you are...FAITH will cause you to respond according to where you are going! 3. The Sound of Frustration... FAITH SOUNDS LIKE: SING A WORSHIP SONG, FAITH SOUNDS LIKE PRAYING FOR THE PEOPLE THAT PUT THEM IN PRISON!

1. LOVE opens the door for HONOR! Honor – the more you put value on something, the more weight it has in your life. Whatever we love we HONOR! Love is a decision – Honor is what flows out of LOVE! 2. Honor opens the door to Living THE LIFE! 3. Honor Opens the Door to Miracles... Miracles happen when HONOR is present! HONOR is a deep place!

1. Fearless Followers Make MOVEs! Fearless Followers...MOVE, while the FEARFUL are paralyzed! 2. Fearless Followers...FACE their FEARS! You can run away from Fear or you can Face your Fears with FAITH There are moments in life where everything changes...Moments where we are FEARLESS! Where Faith arises! FAITH REMINDS US THAT WE ARE NOT ALONE! FAITH REMINDS USTHAT WE NEED JESUS! FAITH REMIDS US THAT FEAR HAS NO PLACE HERE! Lets punch fear in the face with Faith! Let’s believe Greater is he living in me! Let’s believe We can do all things thru Christ SIMPLY BELIEVE!

1. LOVE provides! It’s not What you know that provides...it’s who you know! 2. LOVE protects! 3. LOVE COVERS! I can believe in Love...because Love Covers! My Jesus died so that my life could be the covered!
