We Need To Talk About Nintendo - Episode 221
24/02/2021 Duración: 01h14minNintendo held its first full Direct for the first time in nearly 18 months, days before the 35th anniversary of its second biggest franchise in The Legend of Zelda, and it was.... something. We love Nintendo, they have been a huge part of our lives since 1987, and we want them to be successful. It is because of that love that we have to call them out when it is merited. This is one of those times. We also discuss the amazing trailer for Mortal Kombat, rumors about Konami outsourcing their IP, and a pretty awesome update for XBox owners. E3 Lives!! (For Now...) - Episode 220
17/02/2021 Duración: 01h14minMany assumed that E3's cancelation last year (along with horrible leaks of personal data from the ESA) that the industry showcase was dead and never to return. For 2021 at least, that isn't true as the ESA is planning a 3 day digital event in June and hopes to have all it's heavy hitters in place for said event. The guys are excited to have another year of their predictions special, but can't shake the feeling that this year will be the last. Zack Snyder also finally released a full trailer for his Justice League, Joel and Ellie have been cast in HBO's The Last Of Us show, Kevin got his 60th and 61st Platinums, Sean got a Peloton, and Six Days in Fallujah has been revived! This was a busy podcast to say the least! As we discuss, we are in the middle of a crazy winter storm in Memphis so we had to record remotely. Sean's mic volume is low and we didn't realize it until we had finished as he sounded fine live. We apologize for that, and hope to be back to normal next week! Housekeeping - 00:10 Wear Your Mask

Cyber Shadow Is Not For The Faint Of Heart - Episode 218
03/02/2021 Duración: 01h08minThe guys have been looking forward to the release of Cyber Shadow ever since it was first announced. A retro side scrolling action game that seems to combine Ninja Gaiden, Contra Hard Corps, and Mega Man?!? LET'S GO! In reality, Cyber Shadow is one of the most difficult games in recent years and how you respond to that difficulty will determine your enjoyment level of the game. Sean has beaten it, and Kevin is nearly there, so they go through all of their conflicting thoughts around the game. Other topics include Stadia destroying their first party studios, a rumored new KOTOR game could be on the way, Konami has NOT shut down it's gaming division, and Kevin tried out the new DLC for Fenyx Rising. (Sorry we had some audio issues on this one. We used a different USB port which threw the quality out of whack... Yay technology! It'll be fixed next week.)
