What matters is what Jesus did during these days. The physical presence of Our Lord is physical. This physicality is passed on through Apostolic Succession. The priesthood is a chain of unworthy people touched by Christ. 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 We have to understand that Mass is older than the Scriptures.
