  • S3E39 Where's John?

    21/04/2014 Duración: 01h07min

Krys and I discuss the Premiership games from the weekend. Jamie Hamill’s clash with Derek Adams is quite rightly under the microscope. Jim Goodwin’s red card is also up for discussion. Stevie May’s lob, Chris Sutton’s goal against Rangers and Kenny McLean’s 13 second strike also feature. We discuss who we would pick for the PFA player of the year in each division – if we were allowed a vote. John joins us, finally, for the Premiership predictions and the charity bet. Thank you to McBookie for donating the charity bet stake. sfootballforums On Twitter http://forums.scottishfootballforums.co.uk/

  • S3E38 Disappointing Semis

    14/04/2014 Duración: 58min

John and I were both losers over the weekend, with Rangers and Aberdeen being knocked out of the Scottish Cup. The podcast was set to be simply titled “losers”, but Krys did nothing to deserve that label. We also discuss the charity bet, promotion and relegation confirmations, Premiership predictions and what defines the “better team”. Thank you to McBookie for donating the charity bet stake. The podcast is available via RSS or iTunes. sfootballforums On Twitter http://forums.scottishfootballforums.co.uk/

  • S3E35 Eve Muirhead's Pies

    25/03/2014 Duración: 01h07min

The Premiership split is almost upon us, with the top and bottom six already decided. We discuss the obvious way to make the final games more exciting, as well as attempting to predict who will finish in the play off spot. The charity bet won again and we attempt to keep it simple again. Krys brings up Eve Muirhead’s pies, during the regular pie chat. St Johnstone’s pies get another mention, in the hope that they send us a freebie. And finally …. John turns into a robot again. Thank you to McBookie for donating the charity bet stake. sfootballforums On Twitter http://forums.scottishfootballforums.co.uk/

  • S3E34 Peter Pawlett Baby

    18/03/2014 Duración: 53min

This week’s podcast features me, Greig and the very happy, John. The podcast was delayed to allow me to watch Rangers play Albion Rovers, so we attempt, and fail, to make the podcast a short one. The Premiership review is shortened to allow us to focus more on the League Cup final. John was at the game and describes the game, as well as what happens when a load of Aberdonians descend on Glasgow. It’s safe to say that it’s a cup final special this week. The charity bet came up last week, so we play it safe this week to keep the run going. Greig’s attempts at renaming the Predictor section fails once again, although he may have a celebrity fan. Thank you to McBookie for donating the charity bet stake. sfootballforums On Twitter http://forums.scottishfootballforums.co.uk/

Jim Goodwin, heid the baw, or should that be player? Partick Thistle surprising us all by beating Aberdeen 3-1. That game also brings up whether it can be a foul, and penalty, if there is no contact. The rule book comes out. Scotland’s chances in European Championship qualifying group D. • S3E29 Treble Chasers?

    11/02/2014 Duración: 01h06min

Krys is scared to appear on the podcast alongside John after Saturday’s result, so that leaves me, Greig and John to discuss the last week in Scottish football. Celtic 1-2 Aberdeen receives a lot of the focus, with Aberdeen and Derek McInnes’ success, rightly gaining recognition, as well as question marks being raised over Neil Lennon’s future. The other ties in the Scottish Cup are featured, as is the quarter final draw. Initially the title “Treble chasers” was suggested by Krys, and was supposed to point to both Rangers and Aberdeen, but it ended up being more relevant to our discussion on Celtic. The charity bet came in last week, thanks to Rory McAllister, and we make an audacious attempt at this week’s bet. … and John does a great robot impression. Thank you to McBookie for donating the charity bet stake. sfootballforums On Twitter http://forums.scottishfootballforums.co.uk/

  • S3E27 Hearts are Cheats

    28/01/2014 Duración: 01h03min

It’s Greig, John and I for this week’s podcast, with Krys on parenting duties. This past week, Hearts managed to wangle a way of getting Stevenson available for their cup semi final. We discuss whether they have cheated. Transfer window banter includes Greig explaining to me about the correct term to use when describing the end of the window. Eremenko, Griffiths and Iwelumo all get a mention. Premiership review and predictions is covered, as is the McBookie charity bet. There is even room for beer and pie banter. Oh, and I have a wee rant about Bet365. Visit the forum and get involved – http://forums.scottishfootballforums.co.uk Thank you to McBookie for donating the charity bet stake.

  • S3E23 Give Youth a Chance

    31/12/2013 Duración: 01h17min

Greig, John and Krys join me in the final SFF podcast of the year. There were plenty of games on over Christmas, so we discuss the ones we watched. Jim Goodwin and Stephen Thompson is the first incident to get our focus, particularly the latters comments back in September. Giving youth a chance comes up while discussing the attractiveness of Celtic’s football. We failed in the McBookie Charity bet, despite getting two bets, so we hope to make up for that with another two bets. John is back, so WWF banter makes a reappearance. This time it’s a security guard come police officer. John becomes a little confused as to whether 2014 has arrived during the podcast, but I blame the drink

Fireworks and flares inevitably get a mention this week, alongside seat breakages. Pies, beer and random WWF chat also feature. Thank you to McBookie for donating the charity bet stake.
