Mike Evans and Brandon Stokley open today’s show with a recap of Mike’s vacation to Cabo as they talk about, what else, golfing. They discuss golfing with the missus before they dig into whether the Nuggets did the right thing playing hardball with Jonas Valanciunas. Mike tells us about his precious time with Stink, they highlight the lone Rockies All-Star, and they rant about the bean counters at Coors Field. They debate the efficacy of Mike’s head as a floatation device before Mike builds up some hope that maybe the Broncos’ boogeyman is going away.

Mike takes a victory lap about his sustained hatred of Michael Porter Jr after seeing all of the big moves the Nuggets made and how it has affected their title odds. Mike and Stoke discuss disgruntled employees; are the Nuggets playing with fire playing hardball with Jonas Valanciunas and are the Broncos running the risk of holdouts with their pending extensions? They discuss whether Mahomes is still the boogeyman or if he has fallen back to the QB pack. We get story time with Stink featuring a brand-new story about a M.O.B. during his vacation cruise. They have a very relaxed James Merilatt on to get his thoughts on the Nuggets’ free agent moves, the Valanciunas situation, bad contracts, and impending deals for the Broncos to finish the third hour.

Mike has a theory of his backfire as Stink brutally dismantles his theory about the Broncos’ morale when it comes to the Broncos’ upcoming contract extensions. The guys rant about how dumb the NFL Top 100 players list is as they reveal the first Broncos to appear on the list. They finish today's show debating whether Pat Mahomes is still ahead of the QB pack in the NFL or if he's has regressed to the mean.

In the first hour of Mike Rice and Dante Gomez filling in for the morning show, Mike brings up his top five 4th of July foods and asks Dante about his.  The guys break down all the massive moves made by the Nugget so far this offseason and a couple smaller moves made by the AVS.  And finishing out the hour Mike and Dante are joined by Stan Cotten, the voice of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons to discuss the national view of Deion Sanders and the Buffs.

For the second hour of Mike Rice and Dante Gomez, Mike asks how much pressure is on David Adelman?  The guys also break down recent comments made by Walker Monfort about potential changes for the Rockies.  The guys close out the hour by getting into some Broncos Training camp scenarios and checking out what’s trending. 

In the third hour of Mike Rice and Dante Gomez, Mike and Dante power rank the Nuggets offseason acquisitions and break down the Avalanche’s new “grey beard”.  We then re-visit our interview with Stan Cotton voice of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.  And they end the hour with baseless optimism about the Rockies.

For the fourth and final hour of the day with Mike Rice and Dante Gomez, the guys are joined by the lovely and Talented James Merilatt to discuss the recent Russel Wilson contract revelations and where he thinks the Nuggets stand.  Then Mike and Dante get into some Broncos talk since we’re in the middle of the “calm before the storm” of the NFL season.  And the guys tie a bow on this thing by revealing their top five 4th of July foods and Dante gives his top ten.
