In these past few months, during some of the worst of times, something miraculous has happened to me. As a former worrier, I have found complete peace. I haven’t worried at all. Sickness and finances used to have a hold on me, but I have found that during this time, I have not been plagued by any worries, even though we are surrounded by fears each day. I can only attribute it to God working in me. Today I want to talk about how God doesn’t always rescue us from our circumstances but rescues us from ourselves in them. What a fun episode! I was able to sit down with my 15-year-old son and talk all about the journey we have had from his challenging and active early years, to growing into a young entrepreneur. If you have a “spirited” child, then you will be encouraged that you can channel that energy into good and see their passions unfold. Most of all you can show them that God has created them uniquely for a purpose– energy and all! A small business has given him so many skills already to prepare for life.
