Craig and John had plans to discuss a whole bunch of things about the Padres, but instead they end up just dreaming about a trade for Juan Soto for an entire hour.

After a really great 6-3 win over the San Francisco Giants, San Diego Padres fans should've been doing victory laps about Manny Machado (who is back) or Blake Snell (who might also be back) but, instead, John jumped on the Discord to gripe and complain with others about Eric Hosmer's total lack of effort when it comes to playing professional baseball. His embarrassing defense was on full display again on Friday night, along with his meager offense.

After yet another extra-inning win with yet another Jorge Alfaro walkoff hit, John jumps on the PHT Discord and does a post game show to discuss a rollercoaster of a game. While it was nice to see the Padres get a W, questions and concerns remain around the health of Jurickson Profar and the effectiveness of Taylor Rogers.

Craig and John get together at Bottle Rocket after the Padres were swept by the Seattle Mariners to look back at the last week and talk about what the team can do, should do, and will do to try and keep itself from going into a full collapse heading into the all-star break.
