Steve Carney makes his weekly appearance with Steve Thomson. He’s been struggling this week with the weather and the wind. He hasn’t had much luck hunting the deer or the ducks. He thinks the heat is a huge factor in this tepid season so far. Steve also asks about the upcoming turkey opener… Steve likes eating the smaller birds rather than the bigger (tougher meat). They note the resiliency of the turkey and how many more they’re seeing in places they weren’t inhabiting a few decades ago. Steve Carney joins Steve Thomson fresh off some geese and duck hunting. Steve says the duck numbers are down this year but the wild rice harvest is NOT. He also credits the weather for being the reason why the deer aren't moving much yet. He can't wait for October and cooler temps to arrive.

Stephen talks about Elon Musk’s fascination with Mars and wonders if SpaceX will lose sight of their moon project. He also touches on the political motivations of further investment in space has had on different cities and their economies across America.
