Pastor Jamie continues our series in Matthew in chapter 4. In this chapter we see Jesus in the wilderness facing temptations from the devil. Pastor Jamie explores what this teaches us about Jesus and how we can gain the victory over sin and temptation in our lives.

We returned to our Matthew series on Sunday when Jamie taught from Matthew 3. John the Baptist came as a forerunner to Jesus and prepared the way by calling people to repentance. In this message Jamie teaches on John's message of repentance that must be our attitude but also a message that church holds out to the world.

Pastor Dominic De Souza from Letchworth Garden City Church was our guest speaker to kick off 2013 at Riverside. Jamie continued our 40 days of purpose following the purpose driven life by looking at discipleship in our family service. This shorter message look into some of the things God uses to help grow in Christlike character.

This week Jamie's message was based on our 2nd purpose we are formed for Gods family. The second part of the great commandment is that we love our neighbour and God has placed us as believers in His spiritual family so that we can learn to love another. In this message Jamie explores who we do this.

Pastor Jamie continued Riversides second Timothy series in chapter 3v14-17. In this message Jamie explores how important it is to live a life build around the word of God.

Pastor Jamie continued our Second Timothy series with the message not ashamed of the gospel. Timothy was a timid pastor who need encouragement from Paul that no matter how difficult it was never give up and never be ashamed of Jesus. In our culture people try and make us feel ashamed about following Jesus in this message Jamie shares how Paul taught Timothy not to be ashamed.

This weekend Riverside hosted Catch the Fire UK and Stu Glassborow brought a message reminding us that we are adopted Royal children, we are children of the King of kings. Listen again and catch some of the life transforming truths of this message
