Thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time. Father Dave discusses today's Gospel in which Jesus is asleep on the boat during the storm. The apostles were worried and wanted Jesus to wake up and help them. Father Dave relates this to the storms in our own lives and encourages us to trust that God is always with us, and will be in the boat with us. Feast of Corpus Christi. In a special homily, Father Dave reflects on the reading from the feast of Corpus Christi in which Moses reads the law to the Israelites. Father Dave points out that the people enthusiastically agreed to follow the law that the Lord gave to Moses by saying yes in their hearts.

Monday of the Fifth Week in Ordinary Time. Father Dave points out that in the book of Genesis everything God created was good, and God recognized this. Memorial of St. Agnes, Virgin and Martyr. Fr. Dave discusses today's reading in which Samuel responds to the Lord's call. He points out that just as systems that require us to change our passwords frequently, we should renew our commitment to God often. Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time. Father Dave preaches on today's reading from the book of Job in which he suffers immensely. He points out that many of us can relate to this reading due to the difficult year we have faced, and encourages us to keep the faith just as Job did in such difficult times. He encourages us to be discerning of the information we take in from various sources and discern whether or not that comes from God.
