Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. These days, we might take for granted that God is indeed with us at all times. But is important to strive to remember this, and one way to do this is to remember the dates of commemorating some of these very special birthdays in our faith. Feast of Saint Lawrence, deacon and martyr. Today is the feast day of Saint Lawrence, who infamously called "Turn me over, I'm done on this side" when being martyred by being burned. Although this is an extreme example of course, we are also asked to cheerfully give what we can, even if it is difficult.
