Not everything that goes up, comes down, or out. During this holiday season, there have been a lot of foreign objects that might need help coming out. There are three classifications of rectal foreign bodies: involuntary non-sexual, voluntary non-sexual placement and voluntary during sexual practice. We will discuss how to manage varying degrees of rectal objects. First, you’ll need to take a history & physical, like a CT scan or X-Ray.  Then figuring out how best to remove the objects safely.
