We must prepare ourselves for worship so that the Holy Spirit is welcome in our services. In much the same way, we must prepare the way in our community for God to do his work.

There is a place that we sometimes get put in as Christians that I like the call “The Trying Place”. In this place in our life, we are tested to see what we are truly made of.

Even though God's will may be the best thing for your life, we can still prevent God's will from being accomplished.

We like to depend upon our pastors and teachers to feed us at church. But if we're only being fed on Sunday, we're going to be starving all week. We must learn to feed ourselves in between the big meals.

We know that we are saved by Grace, but equally as important is the Mercy that paved the way for Grace.

God provides for us through his unlimited and immeasurable riches. We need to make sure not to put limits on the greatness of God.

Jesus struggled in the Garden of Gethsemane with what he was about to endure, but the final statements were always "Not my will." This is how we should live our lives. We should always be seeking God's will even if we want something different.

It's easy for us to allow sin to get a grip on us and allow our hearts to begin to harden. Keeping our heart soft toward God is crucial to our existence and effectiveness as a Christian.

We need to lift up the name of Jesus in everything. It's the responsibility of the Holy Spirit to draw people to Jesus, not ours.

The Word is useful for many things, but probably the most important thing is getting to know God and building our relationship with him.

If a church is going to be known as anything, it needs to be known as a House of Prayer. People need to know that there is somewhere to turn in a time of need.

We can't possibly live up to the expectations of the law shown to us in the Bible. The good news that we need to know and share with others is that we don't have to. We are saved by Grace.

Have you ever felt like you are having trouble everywhere you turn? Don't give up because God's word tells us about how this will happen but we're not defeated.

We all know that we should seek God's will for our life, but how hard do we really try to do that?

We often face temptations, but Jesus did also. He showed us how to overcome them using the same power that's available to us.

Gods ways are higher than ours, but we still try to make him conform to our ideas and plans. We need to just let God be who he is and let him move in our life.

We often too easily forget about what it meant to us when we were saved. We need to make sure that we are always thankful to our savior for what he did for us.

We should be what other people think of when they need Sanctuary.

It's very easy to fall into serving something or someone other than God.

God is building an army. It's not yet time to move into battle, but it is time to prepare for the fight.
