And to many Americans, freedom today means being under no one! So...are we still free? Jesus has something to say about this. Let's take a look... "The Jews then complained about Him because He said: 'I am the Bread which came down from heaven.'" Jn 6: 41 How remarkable is Isaiah's prophecy of the coming of the Savior: "He shall be a sanctuary, but also a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense." Is 8:14 Well...which one is He? A sanctuary or a stumbling block? Oh, that will depend on you? "He who does not honor the Son, does not honor the Father who sent Him." Jn 5: 23 Christ's adversaries all had one thing in common: they considered themselves deeply religious; claiming to obey God and honor God. But, of course, they didn't want Christ! Still don't today.
