Israel's security cabinet has approved a military operation in which the IDF would enter Gaza City and surrounding villages - Hamas' final stronghold. According to Prime Minister Netanyahu, the goal of the mission is to free Gaza from Hamas, bring home the hostages, erect a security barrier, and create a civil administration in order to oversee Gaza long-term. However, a coalition crisis might be looming as Minister Betzalel Smotrich believes Israel must annex Gaza, and administer its control in order to achieve a total victory. The Hamas terrorist organization is grateful for France, the U.K. and Canada, by rewarding them for carrying out the October 7 massacre by stating they will recognize a "Palestinian State." As a senior Hamas official told Al-Jazeera: "The initiative by several countries to recognize a Palestinian state is one of the fruits of October 7. We proved that victory over Israel is not impossible, and our weapons are a symbol of Palestinian dignity." On today's Israel Uncensored, Josh Hasten chastises those countries for lacking moral clarity and embolding Hamas through their declarations. Also, a step in the right direction as 4,000 Israelis visit the Temple Mount on Tisha Be'av. Josh says it's significant for Jews to understand that the fight against evil - Hamas and their friends, isn't a battle of territory, but a clash of civilizations with Jerusalem at its center. Hamas understands this, and now more and more Jews are waking up to this reality.

Last week, the leaders of the PA village of Taybeh claimed that Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria had set fire to an ancient church in their community. After the media had a field day reporting this story, it turns out there was no fire at the church. The real story is that arsonists, most likely local Arabs, set fire to nearby fields, with Jews arriving to extinguish the flames. In a Guardian interview, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said a planned humanitarian zone in southern Gaza would be a "concentration camp" for Gaza's Arabs. On this week's Israel Uncensored, Josh Hasten says that Olmert disgraces the suffering of Jews in the Holocaust who were placed in actual concentration camps before their murder. Hasten says that in reality, Israel aims to create humanitarian zones, sterile of Hamas, for hundreds of thousands of Gazans, thus protecting them away from the front lines. Tensions are rising as Netanyahu’s visit to Washington ends in silence and speculation. A discreet second meeting with Donald Trump seems to have triggered a chain reaction—billionaire Steve Witkoff pulled out of his Doha trip, and Netanyahu’s entourage made a quiet, abrupt exit from the U.S. capital. At the same time, ceasefire negotiations with Hamas unraveled. Demands for a permanent ceasefire, expanded humanitarian aid, early prisoner releases, and a full Israeli military withdrawal from Gaza proved too steep—talks broke down. Back in Israel, a shipment of long-awaited American armored bulldozers finally landed, bolstering IDF operations on the ground. But in southern Gaza, tragedy struck: a soldier from Yitzhar was killed in a Hamas ambush while operating heavy machinery. The terrorists tried to take him alive—but he fought back and was fatally shot before IDF forces reached the scene.
