There is a difference between witnessing to people and being a witness. Your most powerful witness is your changed life. People can always argue your theology but they can not argue with your life story.

Truth without love is brutality, but love without truth is heresy. We have to have both. Jesus is the ultimate truth, spoken in love. He is the perfect marriage of both elements.

So what are prayer and fasting about? Throughout Scripture fasting refers to abstaining from for food for spiritual purposes. Prayer is nothing more than an ongoing and growing love relationship with God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Essentially these practices are manners in which we seek holiness - seek growing devotion and relationship as a follower of Jesus.

Who was Bathsheba according to scripture. Was she a temptress? Or in the face of her worst moment did she show true resilience and allow God to redeem her? The Lord wants to take our worst moments, if we will give them to Him, and redeem them.

David was a warrior and king who knew how to meet God in worship. He cultivated a private, intimate relationship with God through worship that spilled out into his publics displays of worship. In his message Sean tells us that God is more concerned with our songs than our voice. Worship is giving God his breath back.
