Two times in four verses Jesus teaches on the importance of forgiving as you have been forgiven. When we begin to understand how much God has forgiven in us it then leads us to forgive others as well.

Jesus later teaches us to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all the things we need will be given to us.

Oftentimes we stop short of fully engaging in God's will for our lives because we don't understand what it means. As we study today, we pray you begin to understand the Lord's will for you. God began the process in His covenant with Abraham, brought His kingdom to earth through His Son and will be completed at the fulfillment of the promise of the new heaven and new earth.
