The Kansas City Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers, 31-10 and improve to 3-0. The Chiefs are one of three unbeaten teams! Kansas City held nothing back as they went for an onside kick, a fourth down play and even a trick wildcat play. The Chiefs are receiving production from their young studs. Despite the challenges against Cleveland, Kansas City was victorious Sunday against the Browns, 16-14. The Chiefs are now 2-0 leading the AFC West by one game with Oakland, San Diego and Denver at 1-1. Farzin goes over the game and announces the week two game ball winner voted by you, the listeners! Although the Chiefs are 2-0, there is a lot they need to work on. Many Chiefs fans are against Matt Cassel after another poor performance. Fans also continue to support Jamaal Charles, who is receiving very few carries. With fans not knowing the reason for Charles receiving few handoffs, Farzin has an explanation that might lead to some sense. He also breaks down the game between the 49ers and the Chiefs!

Since 2006, the Chiefs win in week one! A historic night at the new Arrowhead Stadium on Monday Night Football as the Chiefs finish week one of the NFL season in style, defeating the San Diego Chargers 21-14. The Chiefs came away with plays on offense, defense and special teams allowing them to jolt the Bolts. Kansas City is first place in the AFC West while the Chargers, Broncos and Raiders are all 0-1. Football fans outside of Kansas City were surprised.

On the kick-off episode of The Chiefs Zone, Farzin breaks down the AFC West and Kansas City's schedule. The Monday night opener between Kansas City and San Diego at Arrowhead Stadium is upon us. LB Derrick Johnson will start, according to reports. Farzin talks about the San Diego Chargers and why many football fans will be disappointed with the team overall this season. The Chiefs fall again in the preseason, this time to the Philadelphia Eagles. Despite the loss, the Chiefs did show the most progress up to date, according to coach Todd Haley. Farzin goes over the game and wants to know how offensive coordinator, Charlie Weis, manages the running game this season with three different players receiving significant playing time and a lot of handoffs in three preseason contests. Rookie DBs Eric Berry, Javier Arenas and Kendrick Lewis have been quite busy. And the Chiefs have heavily focused on the wildcat formation quite a lot so far in training camp. Farzin discusses all of the above and other players that have made an impression so far in St. Joseph, MO.
