On another all Futbol edition, (Gary and Randy will be back on Tuesday morning for a 2015 NFL Draft Preview)Sean and Matt break down the two Viernes de Futbol games between Chicago and NYCFC and Colorado vs. Dallas. Then the guys touch on the US U-23 win for the USA over Mexico and if Seattle really should even bother trying to sign Jordan Morris. After that, we discuss what to make of Montreal's 1-1 draw with Club America and what it means for the second leg on Wednesday night. Finally, we wrap things up with a few news and notes such as: is it better to play in MLS or sit on the bench in Europe and where does Tesho Akindele have the best opportunity at the International Level, and there's also a preview with predictions for the rest of the games happening in MLS Week 8.

On an all futbol episode, Sean and Matt discuss New York Redbulls continuing to rule the roost in MLS, after their 2-0 win against San Jose. Then we move on to preview the rest of the weekend games and talk about Tottenham being the MLS All-Star opponent. Then we end things with an article written by Last Word on Sports Contributor Brian Cook called "What US Open Cup can take from March Madness." We ponder how US Soccer can make the US Open Cup more prominent in the mind of soccer fans and it turns into a very good discussion.

We spent the first 2 hours and 15 minutes on the 2015 NBA Playoffs Preview extravaganza, where everyone broke down the first round match-ups and then we went through the rest of the bracket all the way to the NBA Finals. Guests include: Portland Oregon Radio Host Sean Louis-Phillipsen, along with Last Word on Sports Basketball Department Head Jack Moore Perrin, Hound Sports Basketball Writer Geoff Bruce, LWOS Basketball Writer Ryan Timmerman and HS Basketball Writer Will Goshay as well. This was one informative, fun, and Basketball filled show.After all that, Matt comes on for the last 15 minutes to talk USA's 2-0 win over Mexico with Sean. Sean, Gary, Matt, and Randy will be back tomorrow as well with Sean and Matt going over Philadelphia vs. NYCFC and NYRB vs. San Jose, then previewing the rest of the MLS games happening this weekend. Gary and Randy will also be on to talk some NFL stuff as well.

We start things off today on the ice, as Sean, Gary, and Matt are joined by Dave Gove, who is the co-host of the Last Word on Sports Hockey podcast "On the Powerplay." That being said, everyone is gathered to do a NHL Playoff Preview, where we breakdown all of the first round match-ups and give our predictions for all of the series. Then we will continue through our brackets until we get to the Stanley Cup finals and crown a champion. We also look back at the season that just ended as well.Then Sean and Matt stick around to discuss the weekend of games in a MLS Week 6 in review. Starting with the whack that FC Dallas took against Colorado and ending with LA's ugly victory against Seattle. The guys also discuss Montreal signing Kenny Cooper and how that could help them for the CCL Finals, players and coaches going into the Hall of Fame while still active, and we discuss the US Men's roster that was named to face Mexico on April 15.

We are back with our second show of this week. Gary and Randy join Sean to talk some NFL news. The guys talk the latest on the Adrian Peterson situation, Rolando McClain and Matt Schaub have found homes, The Jets file tampering charges on the Patriots, we go around the NFL and discuss what teams should do with certain QB's, and even wonder what teams could surprise. Just for fun, we make some Masters predictions as well.Matt then joins proceedings, as he and Sean review the Viernes de Futbol game between DC United and Orlando SC, which featured another late goal win for DC. Then to finish off the show, they preview the rest of the games being played in MLS Week 5.

We were off last week due to just being really busy, but we are back with the first of two shows this week to make up for it. For the first 50 minutes, Sean and Matt discuss the US Men's National Team and how they looked in their two friendlies against Denmark and Switzerland. Then we look ahead to the Mexico game in a few weeks as well. Sean and Matt also do an overview of MLS over these past two weeks and discuss what stood out to them the most and what teams have work to do. Then as Matt leaves, we transition over to our 2015 Major League Baseball Season Preview for the final hour and 10 minutes of the program.
