This week on Theology on the Go, our host, Dr. Jonathan Master is joined by Dr. Daniel Doriani.   Dr. Doriani serves as vice president of strategic academic projects and professor of theology and ethics at Covenant Theological Seminary. He previously served as senior pastor of Central Presbyterian Church in Clayton, Missouri.  Dr. Doriani is an author of numerous books and is a speaker much in demand. Dr. Doriani was one of the main speakers for the Philadelphia Conference on Reformed Theology this year.  The conference theme was Reformation: Recovering the Essence of the Gospel.  One of the topics Dr. Doriani addressed was the all important reformation principle - sola scriptura! This week on Theology on the Go, our host, Dr. Jonathan Master is joined by Rev. Richard Davis Phillips.  Dr. Phillips has been the Senior Minister of Second Presbyterian Church in Greenville, South Carolina (PCA) since July, 2007. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Michigan, and a master of business administration degree at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and a master of divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary. After graduation he joined the pastoral staff of the church where he came to faith, Tenth Presbyterian Church of Philadelphia, PA. There, Rick was mentored by the well-known Bible teacher, Dr. James Montgomery Boice, and began his calling as a weekly preacher of God’s Word. After serving at Tenth Presbyterian from 1995-2002, Dr. Phillips accepted the call to be Senior Minister of First Presbyterian Church of Margate, FL. After five years there, he moved to Greenville. This week on Theology on the Go, our host, Dr. Jonathan Master is joined by the Rev. Todd Pruitt.  Rev. Pruitt is a speaker on the Mortification of Spin podcast. A native of Houston, Texas, Todd served as youth pastor in churches in Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. Todd was called as the first pastor of Metro East Baptist Church in September of 1999. In November 2008, Todd became the teaching pastor of Church of the Saviour in Wayne, Pennsylvania.  Todd is currently the pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Harrisonburg, VA.  He is a graduate of Southwest Baptist University and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Todd and his wife, Karen, have been married since 1990 and have three children: Kate, Ryan, and Matthew. Rev. Pruitt's church is home to the Blue Ridge Bible Conference to be held March 31- April 1 (Walk-in registration accepted!) and today Dr. Master will interview Rev. Dr. Carl Trueman (Ph.D., Aberdeen).  Dr. Trueman holds the Paul Woolley Chair of Church History and is professor of church history at Westminster Theological Seminary. He has written more than a dozen books, and is currently co-editing with Bruce Gordon the Oxford Handbook of Calvin and Calvinism due in 2017.  Dr. Trueman also writes online regularly at firstthings.com on contemporary issues such as religious freedom, identity politics, and the state of the church and on the Alliance site, Mortification of Spin.  Dr. Trueman is an ordained minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, and is pastor of Cornerstone OPC in Ambler, PA. This week on Theology on the Go, our host, Dr. Jonathan Master is joined by Dr. Mark Dalbey, president of Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO.  Dr. Dalbey was a pastor and Bible instructor prior to his coming to Covenant Theological Seminary.  He holds an MDiv from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and a DMin from Covenant Theological Seminary.  Though Dr. Dalbey has been with Covenant since 1999, he became president of the seminary in 2013 as the unanimous choice of the board of trustees. Dr. Dalbey is also a professor of applied theology at the teaching classes on topics ranging from leadership to parenting.  He teaches the latter with his wife Beth.      This week Dr. Dalbey has joined us to talk about the Missional Theology Department of Covenant Theological Seminary.  Recently the seminary has come under criticism from certain circles for having changed the name of their systematic theology department to that of missional theology.  Dr. Dalbey will talk about that and more on this program of The

Nettles, retired Professor of Historical Theology at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.  Dr. Nettles is regarded by some as one of the foremost Baptist historians in America today. He earned his M.Div. and Ph.D. degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Nettles was formerly on the faculty of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School where he was Professor of Church History and Chair of the Department of Church History. He also taught church history at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. He is also a leading figure in the Southern Baptist Founders Conference and on the Board of Founders Ministries.  Along with numerous journal articles and scholarly papers, Dr. Nettles is the author or editor of nine books. Jeremy serves as Senior Counsel with Pennsylvania Family Institute and the Independence Law Center, where he plays an integral role on the legal and legislative policy teams.  Since joining the staff in May 2015, Samek’s legal efforts have focused on the protection of religious liberty, protecting human life, strengthening the family, and the elimination of sex trafficking. Samek believes that religious liberty is the cornerstone of all freedoms. After completing his MA in Theology at Talbot, and being the high school pastor at RiverLakes Community Church, Chad was called to plant a church in Bakersfield. However, Chad is also the Kern High School District’s longest continuously serving board member.  However, he recently announced that he will not seek reelection in November due to board policies that violate his religious conscience. Vegas made the decision not to run for re-election after the board voted to adopt policies that mandate non-discrimination against transgender individuals at KHSD, including requiring staff and teachers to refer to transgender students by the pronoun with which they identify.  “I can't personally oversee the implementation of those kinds of laws and policies,” Vegas told The Californian. “They violate my religious conscience.” Chad has been married to Ter

He holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Goligher has served as Senior Minister in Ireland, Canada, London, England, and his native, Scotland. Dr. Goligher has contributed to more than ten books and authored four: A Window on Tomorrow (Christian Focus, 1994), The Fellowship of the King (Carlisle, 2003), The Jesus Gospel (Milton Keynes, 2006), and Joseph—The Hidden Hand of God (Fearn, 2008).
