Christ is put on trial and declared guilty, though the governing authorities can find no fault in Him. The Jewish leadership must manipulate Pilate, the Roman Governor, into crucifying our Lord. The Jews thought they were manipulating Pilate, but little did they know that they were playing right into God’s purposeful hand. At the beginning of both a New Year and, significantly, a new season in the life of Mosaic, Pastor Mark explains why our new facility is not a stopping point but a new starting point from which God expects us to advance the gospel in the years ahead. Indeed, our new facility is not a stopping point but only the next point of departure for all those who would renew a personal and collective commitment to faith, courage, and sacrifice. In so doing can we expect God to do in and through us even greater things in the future: in our lives, families, this city and the world.
