Nobody want to end up in "Jail". It takes us out of the action. Many of us have been taught by our culture that the way to upgrade our lifestyle is to take on consumer debt. We quickly learn that this type of spending eventually cripples us financially. God teaches us principles about debt and how to free ourselves from this "jail".

When playing Monopoly, "Boardwalk" in the high rent district is the property we want most. All of us have one obsession or another whether it is electronic gadgets, tools, decorations or clothes. When we take a look at God's word, we realize that the EXTRA God has given us is to help others and not just satisfy our every desire.

When playing Monopoly, everyone wants to land on "Free Parking" to experience the cach windfall it brings to us. Our culture teaches us that the more money we have, the more satisfied we will be, but it never turns out that way. We will learn how God is the only one who can give us the true "Jackpot" of joy by honoring him.

God's word states that the heart is the wellspring of our lives. Sometimes we are so busy we forget about fueling our spiritual/emotional tank. Pastor Justin will teach us about stengthening our hearts through God's power for a new year.

God makes us a mysterious offer that can transform our lives - but many times it's the mystery of the offer that keeps people from accepting it. Come celebrate Christmas Eve with us!

Jesus was born into this world with the most mysterious and critical mission of anyone that ever lived. We will explore this critical mission and what it means to our life today.

We often talk about the virgin birth, but do we really understand it and the implications of it? We will study this mystery that is at the cord of what made it possible for Jesus to come as a baby - fully God and fully man.

We will look at the mysterious announcements of Jesus' brith (known as prophecies) that are found in the Old Testament. Imagine being and Isrealite and being taught that the coming of the Messiah would be a Powerful King, yet a suffering servant. Join us as we solve the mystery as we study God's word.

Christmas came out in stores before Halloween this year and Black Friday has actually been moved up to Thursday! In a consumer driven culture, it is important for the Body of Christ to step back and have the proper perspective on the holidays so that we don't get sucked into the world. Pastor Richard teaches on a Thanksgiving Celebration from the life of David.

Part Two of the last sermon in the Jesus Can REvolutionize Life series.

On this weekend before Thanksgiving, we will be summarizing what we have learned along this journey and be hearing from others who have grown in unique ways through this study.

We need to be intentional about living for Jesus if it is going to become a reality. Pastor Dan will be teaching on the importance of establishing a "Rule of Life". These are practices that you can build into your daily life in order to keep your heart centered around Jesus. We will study the pattern found in the early church in Acts.

Our outlook in life is greatly determined by our emotional and spiritual health. Many times we are immature emotionally which causes us to be discontented and frustrated with other people and life itself. We need to learn to grow emotionally and love God, ourselves and others in a healthy way. Pastor Dan will teach on the parable of the Good Samaritan found in Luke 10:25-37.

Life is so hectic and busy. The most important thing we can do in maintaining inner peace is time alone with God. Pastor Dan will talk about practical ways we get to know God by practicing silence and solitude and practicing a true Sabbath - a weekly period of time when we can refresh our souls in Him.

Grief and loss are a part of life. We need to learn to fully experience our losses in lifes and Jesus is the one who can comfort us in these times. We will study Jesus' struggle in the Garden of Gethsemane found in Matthew 26:36-46. Christ was facing death and was grieving like anyone else would in His position. We can learn from His experience in how to face loss.

What challenges are you facing? Some challenges include marital issues, parenting, illness and financial stress. We many times see challenges as barriers, when Jesus can use them to deepen our relationship with Him and help us mature. Meaningful lessons can come from our suffering if we let Jesus teach us through the experience. Pastor Dan will be teaching on the story of Abraham being asked by God to sacrifice his son Isaac.

Most of our parents did the best they could do in raising us. But in every family some negative patterns are passed down to us that deeply impact our spiritual and emotional lives. The important thing is to identify these negative pattern cycles and chose to break the cycles through the power of Jesus. Pastor Dan will be talking about Joseph's family of origin and how Joseph broke out of those negative patterns.

Many times we find ourselves acting out a role in our lives - living out other people's expectations of us instead of being our true selves. We will be studying the life of David and how he was true to himself and God. He experienced life to its fullest - the ups and the downs. We will explore how we can cultivate a stronger relationship with Jesus so he can help us experience life as He intended.

How would you describe your relationship with Jesus? Is it close or distant, meaningful or empty? Jesus wants more than anything a close, meaningful relationship with you. Pastor Dan teaches about the life of Saul and how he started out close to God, but made all the wrong choices and became very distant.
