The nature and character of God is to bless His children, even if it requires piercing our pride filled hearts. Light Overcomes DarknessSometimes, victory goes to the wicked. At least that’s the way it seems when we look through our own eyes, relying on our own understanding. Isn’t it interesting how 2,500 years since David put pen to paper the world around us seems to have stayed the same in many regards. Fortunately for us, we can draw from history to see how God causes nations to rise and fall, and brings justice to the wicked.As we draw this series to a close, we revisit Psalm 27 in its entirety. Stand firm and courageous by knowing the truth that God is our defender, our shelter, and our retreat.
