After His resurrection, Jesus explains how the Scriptures point to Him and commissions His disciples to preach repentance and forgiveness. This passage marks the transition from understanding to action, empowered by the Holy Spirit. 

Jesus shows mercy to a woman caught in adultery, challenging the crowd's judgmental attitudes and emphasizing forgiveness. This story highlights the tension between law and grace, calling us to embody compassion. 

Jesus’ conversation with the Samaritan woman breaks social norms and offers her "living water," symbolizing eternal life. This passage emphasizes the inclusiveness of Jesus’ message and the transformative power of encountering Him. 

The parable of the Good Samaritan challenges conventional ideas of who qualifies as a "neighbor." Jesus calls us to show mercy and love to all, regardless of social or cultural barriers. 

The story of Zacchaeus illustrates Jesus' mission to seek and save the lost. Zacchaeus’ encounter with Jesus leads to a radical transformation, demonstrating the impact of true repentance. 

The Great Commission calls Jesus’ followers to make disciples of all nations, promising His presence and authority. This passage serves as the foundation for the church’s mission to spread the Gospel worldwide. 

Jesus summarizes the entire Law with two commandments: to love God completely and to love your neighbor as yourself. This teaching highlights the centrality of love in the life of a believer. 

Jesus is anointed by a sinful woman, highlighting the power of forgiveness and the deep love it inspires. This passage contrasts the woman’s humble repentance with the Pharisee's judgmental attitude. 

Peter encourages believers to stand firm in their faith, even when suffering to do good. He emphasizes the importance of a clear conscience and readiness to share the hope found in Christ. What does it look like to share the hope of Christ that is within you? 

Known as the "Love Chapter," Paul describes love as the greatest virtue, surpassing even faith and hope. This passage challenges us to embody a selfless, enduring love that reflects God’s character. 

The parable of the Prodigal Son reveals the boundless grace of God, showing that no matter how far we stray, God eagerly welcomes us back. It also highlights the challenge of accepting this grace, especially for those who consider themselves righteous. 

Jesus calls Levi, a tax collector, to follow Him, demonstrating that God's call extends to those society deems unworthy. His willingness to eat with sinners challenges religious norms and redefines who needs salvation.

Jesus calls his disciples. In the third part, he calls them “fishers of men.” In our discipleship to Jesus, He wants us to do as He did. Jesus’ words apply not only to the disciples but also to us. Following Jesus means doing the things that He has done. As we learn to follow Jesus, His love will flow through us to other people.

Following Jesus means taking on the things that He Himself has done. As we learn to follow Jesus, we must re-prioritize our lives so Christ lives in us.

As we enter into a new season, we are reminded that Jesus gives us a renewed outlook on life. Jesus says He is the way, the truth, and the life. This series will embark on living as Renewed followers of Jesus as we are called to Be With Jesus, Become Like Jesus, and Do as He Did.

Jesus has control over the chaotic waters. Jesus has control over our chaotic lives. When Jesus calls us to follow after him, it's a step of faith for us to trust in Him. There will come a time when Jesus returns to make all things right, and we will be in eternity with him, sitting beside still waters of his grace and mercy. Until then, we are called to walk with him through the chaos of life.

God uses ordinary things for extraordinary miracles. Through water, God heals people through the water and His word. His healing is our testimony to His power!

We often forget about God's provision for our lives and doubt his presence and power. Just like the Israelites, we ask, "Is the Lord among us or not?" However, Christ is the spiritual Rock that provides for us Living Water. Because God is faithful, we are called to be faithful to Him, our Rock and our Living Well. Just as Moses strikes the rock which provides water, Christ himself was stricken as blood and water seeps from his side, offering for us nourishment and salvation forever.
