The sacrifice of the cross, extended to us through the Eucharistic, draws us into communion with the Divine.

That which God does not ask of Abraham, the Sacrifice of his son, God does out of love for us. He asked his Son to embrace death on the cross so that we might live forever in oneness with the Son.

We enter the desert of Lent so that we can become more aware of the presence of God and also aware of the working of Satan in our lives.

According to the law of Moses, people with leprosy had to live alone, outside the camp. A leper said to Jesus, “If you wish, you can make me clean.” Moved with pity, Jesus touched him: “I do will it. Be made clean.” The leprosy left him, and he was healed.

The Consecrated Life (Religious Life) is a way to follow God’s call in our life. For those whom God has called, it can be a way to holiness.

Because the Kingdom of God is a kingdom of love, we who wish to become a part of that kingdom must always be in the process of repenting of our sins and living according to God’s plan.

The more we know the scriptures, the more richness and meaning we find in God’s Word. This can be easily seen in the story of the Annunciation.
