Behavior modification is not enough. If we want to step into God’s script for our lives, then we have to dig deeper. We have to kill the root desires and beliefs that lead us to behave in unhealthy ways.

The immediate. The urgent. Busyness. Distractions. If we aren’t careful, our lives can be derailed by little things. In Colossians 3, the Apostle Paul challenges us look past the immediate and see what’s ultimate.

Your life is a story, but is it the story you want to be living? Who gave you that script? In Colossians 2, the Apostle Paul challenges us to throw out the old script and step into the story that Jesus has for us.

Humans have the extraordinary ability to believe their own lies. In this passage, the Apostle Paul talks to us about exposing self-deceit and getting to the truth.

The Apostle Paul seems to think that what we need more than anything else is to be captivated by the beauty of Jesus.

To long for more than this life can give is human. But what do you do with this longing?

The Christian life is not a moral program.  It is a living vital relationship with God that is kept dynamic through abiding in His Word and His love.

Foreign behavior causes pauses. 1 Peter 5 reminds Christians that they are "not from here", and as such should view things like leadership; success, temptations and pride differently.

1 Peter 3 advises us to "repay evil with blessing"...what the?? This is truly a foreign concept.  Find out what it means for Christ followers today.

In 1 Peter 2:4, Jesus is described as a “living stone”, but everyone knows rock aren’t alive...right?

In the closing verses to his gospel, Mark calls attention to a few often overlooked but important aspects of Jesus resurrection.

Jesus redefines our ideas of kingship by embodying a the divine King who embraces suffering, crucifixion, and death. 

Jesus loves us so much, he calls us to leave behind anything prevents us from going “all-in” with him, the true source of all life!
