Originally from Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Dr. Blalock got her start in dentistry when she worked as a dental assistant for a pediatric office. She attended UMKC and graduated in 2011.  She returned to her hometown to join a group practice with 3 other doctors that she had known for many years. After 6 months, tensions were rising between the partners and Cyndi was doing a lot of sitting around because two of the partners were pulling seniority over her big cases. So, she found a job in public health in Jefferson City.  Shortly after she left, one of the partners left the practice and the lawsuits flew. She was glad to get out when she did!
