In a few days I will have a birthday. I have had a good many of these birthdays. In my years on this earth I have seen a lot and done a lot. But I am not finished yet. There is still a lot more to do and see. I believe that God has said to me, Doug, you are old and advanced in years but you ain't done yet. There is more work to be done, so get up and get busy. This podcast is a challenge for you not to let old age be an excuse. God is not finished with you so get up and get going.

Many people like to surmise what Jesus would do in particular situations. The best thing for us to do however is to open the Bible and see what He actually did do! In this podcast I talk about how He wants you to follow Him, not for what you can get from Him but because He is Lord.

Judas betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. Peter denied Jesus because he was afraid. Both men felt shame and regret for what they had done. But the name of Judas will always be synonymous with treachery and deceit while Peter will always be remembered as a saint. What was the difference? God is the Creator of all things. He came from no where, He stood on emptiness, and with His Hands took nothing and created everything. He has a plan and a purpose for His creation and I will glorify His Name.

In this podcast I encourage people to do what God tells you to do when HE tells you to do it. The soul that God wants you to impact today may not be around tomorrow. The blessing God has for you today may not be available tomorrow. Just do it, today.

In this podcast I talk about the Godly heritage of America. America is great because America is good. America is good because from the very beginning this country was established by people who worshiped and served Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the way. Following Him is often difficult and scary. But when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death we need not be afraid. His rod of protection and staff of guidance will give us comfort. One day we will lie down in the green pastures of His love and dwell in the presence of God forever. This is the promise of God for those who refuse to go back from following Christ.

The Bible tell us that Elijah had a nature like ours. This means that if we will cover ourselves with the righteousness of God then our prayers can be just as effective as Elijah's.

The work of loving your neighbor will not earn you a place in heaven. But, Gods Word makes it clear, the fact that a person does not love their neighbor proves that he has no place in the Kingdom of God. Do you love God? Prove it by loving your neighbor.

"There is no fear in love; for perfect love casts out fear." The words “There is no fear in love” may conjure up images of white doves fluttering away in the sunset while violins play in the background. But really, what does this verse mean? How is it possible that love can drive away fear? Listen to this podcast where I answer that question.

There are three Great Institutions of God. On the day of Pentecost He instituted the Church. In the book of Exodus He instituted government. But first and foremost in Genesis Chapter two, God instituted the Family. . The family was, is and always will be the foundation for all of civilized society. Love your enemies and do good to those who hate you, bless the ones that curse you and pray for the ones that abuse you. Do for others as you would have them do for you. Love everyone, especially the ones who don't love you! If someone strikes you turn the other cheek! Give and expect nothing in return! Don't judge and don’t condemn. Be merciful because God has been merciful to you! These rules are simple and they will not change! Do you want to have an impact in the Kingdom of Heaven, then learn the rules and practice the rules!

We are in desperate need of revival! However revival will never break out in the midst of comfortable church people whose spiritual apathy has flat lined the evangelistic heartbeat. You know that Jesus Christ is the Rock of the ages, but most of you will not, get out, and let Him rock your world!

Because I love God with all my heart, His love compels me to be polite to everyone. So it does not matter who you are, what color your skin is or what lifestyle you have chosen I will always treat you with kindness.

Today you may have a need. I promise you God will provide. He may provide miraculously, mundanely or He may provide for you by teaching you to do without. No matter how it is provided it will be from God. Listen to this podcast where I talk about the God of the miraculous and the mundane.

The flowers that bloom this month will be pretty. The groundhog may or may not see his shadow. But there is one thing for sure. Love never fails. And between faith, hope and love the greatest of these is love

It does not matter who you are, where you are or what you are doing, God has a special calling for you. You may think that you are nothing special, but God specializes in using nothing special for His glory.
