DJ Sixsmith and Matt Moro kicked off the year talking about Wes Welker’s suspension after testing positive for steroids. They discussed how Welker could have failed this test, and whether it actually matters for the Broncos given his latest concussion. The guys then moved to last night’s kickoff game between the Packers and Seahawks. Seattle looks like it is still the team to beat in the NFC, as their defense gave Aaron Rodgers fits throughout the game. DJ and Matt turned their attention to the local teams next. Kelly Kultys weighed in with her first Jets report, while the guys debated how much Geno Smith will improve going into his second year and how he could be affected by the addition of Michael Vick. The guys discuss the Chargers Thursday night upset over the number one team in the AFC, the Broncos. The guys then turned their attention to the Giants after their pitiful performance against those streaking Chargers last week.
