Kenny Ducey and Matt Moro break down the Roger Goodell press conference, the image problem the league has faced over the past several weeks, and the Falcons thrashing of the Buccaneers on Thursday Night. Kristian O'Hara thens joins the conversation after his Giants to report to break down Big Blue. The guys then move the conversation over to the Jets with Kelly Kultys' Jets report. Kristian comes back in to give his start 'ems, sit 'ems, and players to watch for fantasy football in Week 3. Finally, the staff gave their weekly predictions. The 2014 NFL season is here, and with it comes the return of One-on-One’s NFL Friday.  DJ Sixsmith and Matt Moro kicked off the year talking about Wes Welker’s suspension after testing positive for steroids.  They discussed how Welker could have failed this test, and whether it actually matters for the Broncos given his latest concussion.   The guys then moved to last night’s kickoff game between the Packers and Seahawks.  Seattle looks like it is still the team to beat in the NFC, as their defense gave Aaron Rodgers fits throughout the game.   DJ and Matt turned their attention to the local teams next.  Kelly Kultys weighed in with her first Jets report, while the guys debated how much Geno Smith will improve going into his second year and how he could be affected by the addition of Michael Vick.   The focus then turned to the Giants.  Kristian O’Hara contributed his first report of the season, and the guys discussed Eli Manning’s preseason struggles.  The defense may be a bright spot, but will it matter if

 DJ Sixsmith and Kenny Ducey take One on One’s NFL Friday on the road to Radio Row to preview the big matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos. The two hour extended edition features top guests including the voice of the Giants, WFUV alum Bob Papa and Kevin Harlan, the voice of the Super Bowl. Mack Rosenberg and Nolan Silbernagel discuss the hottest topics in the NFL including Richard Sherman and of course, the upcoming Super Bowl. Judy Battista of NFL.com joined the guys to recap the Championship Weekend games, preview the Super Bowl, especially the weather conditions, and decide the new Pro Bowl draft format.  The guys did a 2014 Pro Bowl Draft of their own, with Nolan taking Jamaal Charles with his first pick and Mack countering with Drew Brees.  Next week's NFL Friday will be live online at wfuvsports.org from Radio Row in New York City when our guys preview the upcoming game. We start out by taking a look at the final matchups of the season for both the Jets and Giants, with the weekly reports of Eric Mollo and Kris Venezia.  Next up, we dive into the multiple playoff scenarios that coudl surface after the final weeek is done, and preview who we think gets in on the final day of the regular season. Clark Jusge talks with the guys aboutt the playoff picture and the teams he like for the final wild card spots. In addtion to the weekly picks and fantasy segmets the guys comiserate over the Jets and Giants respective seasons.

DJ Sixsmith makes his NFL Friday return after a 10-week hiatus to host with Nolan Silbernagel. The guys discuss the Chargers Thursday night upset over the number one team in the AFC, the Broncos. They also offer their opinions on the quarterback controversy taking place in Chicago, as well as Aaron Rodgers' health.  The guys then turned their attention to the Giants after their pitiful performance against those streaking Chargers last week. DJ and Nolan debated on whether the Giants should return Hakeem Nicks next year, as well as the team's shot against Seattle this week.  The show then shifted to the other New York team, still fighting for their playoff lives after a large win over the Raiders. The guys debated on whether or not the run-heavy Jets had a chance against the run-stuffing Panthers.  As always, Eric Mollo and Kris Venezia, the Giants and Jets beat reporters respectively, contributed their weekly reports, before Bobby Gubin came on to give the latest fantasy advice. Mack Rosenberg & Nolan Silbernagel Mack and Nolan jump right in to the chaotic sports day that was December 6th, which included the firing of Texans' head coach Gary Kubiak. The guys discussed what the Texans need to do to get back on track. Mack and Nolan then previewed the potential playoff picture in both leagues as the season heads toward the end.  Mack adamantly stated that the Giants would not be in the playoffs, but Nolan offered some reasons as to why the G-Men still have a shot. They then previewed their upcoming matchup with the San Diego Chargers.  The guys were then joined by Seth Walder of the New York Daily News to break down the Jets and their recent disappointments. Yesterday was Thanksgiving, so that means triple the Thursday Night football to cover on this post-turkey edition of One on One's NFL Friday. Mack Rosenberg and Shaun Cohen take a look at all three of yesterday's Thanksgiving matchups, including a big win in Detroit, a Dallas comeback, and an exciting nightcap between the Steelers and Ravens in Baltimore. The guys then move on to some local football, as both the Jets and Giants look to rebound from tough Week 12 losses on Sunday. Eric Mollo brings us his weekly Giants report, as Mack and Shaun discuss how monumental the Giants loss to the Cowboys was, and how now even running the table may not be enough for the G-Men to make it to the postseason. The guys discussed Thursday night's wild ending and whether the Colts can get back on track after having a few shaky performances. Mack and Shaun then discussed the Giants upcoming matchup with the Aaron Rodgers-less Green Bay Packers. They then moved on to break down the Jets' recent performances as well as debating whether or not Santonio Holmes would have an impact this week.
