On the latest episode of TALKBOX, fighter and boxing analyst Paul Malignaggi drops by the studio to chat with host, Michael Woods! Born in Brooklyn, New York, Malignaggi is a 2-time world champion fighter and a Showtime/CBS boxing analyst.

Kathy Duva, promoter to Sergey Kovalev and CEO of Main Events, and Eric Kelly, boxing personality and "entertrainer" call in to the Talkbox studio to discuss the Ward VS Kovalev fight this past weekend. Doug Jacobs, Founder of Integrated Sports Media, joins the show to talk about Pay Per View and the boxing world. Tim Ryan, Sportscaster and lead boxing announcer shares some of the highlights of his career.  Notable fights Ryan called include Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier, Floyd Patterson vs. Oscar Bonavena, Bernard Hopkins vs. Glen Johnson, and Thomas Hearns vs. Sugar Ray Leonard.

Eric Kelly dishes out his two cents on upcoming fights, the life of a fighter, and everything in between. Eric Kelly is a four-time national amateur boxing champion, two-time NYC Golden Gloves champion, and was ranked #1 in America and #4 in the world wile he attended school at the United States Olympic Education Center.  His amateur record is 104 wins, 14 losses.  His professional career ended before it could even begin due to an eye injury.  He is also known for his viral video "Boxing Lessons with Eric Kelly", which displays his outspoken coaching style.  

Johnny Southpaw, Eric Kelly, and Brin Butler join TalkBox to talk about the latest boxing news.  Host Michael Woods calls Carl Moretti, Top Rank VP of Boxing Operations; Steve Kim, internationally known boxing journalist, and Brandy D., a TalkBox and boxing fan to talk about the Pacquiao-Vargas fight this weekend (11/5) and other boxing matters.

Pastor James Roberson joins TalkBox to break down why he has an appreciation for fighters and the sport of boxing, but also why he finds many fights to be "uninteresting."  Roberson was a college football player and tried out for the NFL after graduation. Pastor James is the founder and lead Pastor at Bridge Church in Brooklyn, NY.  

Shaun Assael is an American author and award-winning investigative journalist. A senior writer for ESPN The Magazine, Assael is a member of ESPN network's Enterprise & Investigations Group. He is the author of four books, each an ethnographic investigation into a sports culture.  Shaun sits down with TalkBox to discuss his latest book, The Murder of Sonny Liston: Las Vegas, Heroin And Heavyweights, published Oct. 18 2016.

Matt Taibbi is an author and journalist. Taibbi has reported on politics, media, finance, and sports, and has authored several books. Talkbox squad also chops it up about the latest boxing headlines including the Tyson Fury debacle.

Famed boxing trainer Teddy Atlas joins us in studio..    

Special guest Olympian Michael Conlan calls in.  Conlan is an Irish boxer from Belfast. He is currently signed with Top Rank.  As an amateur, Conlan reached number one in the AIBA bantamweight world rankings, with achievements that include an Olympic bronze medal at London 12' and a World Championship gold medal at Doha.  Michael Conlan left RIO 2016 with a bad taste in his mouth. The reigning World gold medalist lost a controversial decision in the bantamweight quarter-final to Russia’s Vladimir Nikitin. In most people’s eyes, he was robbed. He tore off his Ireland vest and held up his middle fingers to the judges.. 

Fast rising, undefeated prospect Julian Hammer Hands Rodriguez joins us in studio. A breakout amateur with a record of 221 – 9 before turning pro, JR was picked up by Top Rank Promotions quickly and is expected to be the next Super Lightweight superstar. Julian is now 13-0 with 10 KO's.

WBA World super featherweight champion Jason Sosa joins Talkbox squad in the Everlast studio. Eric Kelly calls in..
