The calls keep on coming. First up with the impending Charlo brother card this weekend, CEO Brett Yorkman phones in to talk boxing at the Barclays. Next writer, former HBO employee, and creator of Fistianados Podcast, Evan Rutkowski offers his insights on the recent Wilder vs Fury bout, upcoming Showtime card and boxings departure from HBO and entrance into the world of streaming services. Third on the TalkBox card is long time friend Frank Lotierzo, author at the Sweet Science and former professional boxer. Woodsy and Frank talk about what is next in the Wilder, Fury, Joshua saga. We round out episode 142 with Team Everlast athlete Jarrell Miller calling from the airport on his way to the UK and a possible showdown with Anthony Joshua.

Fresh off his first round knock out of Mason Menard, Teofimo Lopez and father Junior enter the studio. The three discuss what could potentially be the knock out of the year, short term plans at 135lbs and long term goals of what they call "the takeover." Then author, journalist, and television commentator Mark Kriegel calls into Talk Box to riff on the recent Lomachenko card and what he believes in next for "the future champion" Teofimo Lopez.

First up Woodsy gets on the phone with author, editor, media director and host of HBO Boxing podcast, Eric Raskin. The two touch on Wilder vs Fury, the end of HBO boxing and the age old question of how do we fix scoring in boxing. Next 34 and 0, number one pound for pound female boxer, the First Lady, Cecilia Braekhaus calls into the podcast to discuss her fight this Saturday night on the final HBO boxing card. We round out episode 140 with a call from author of Punching from the Shadows: Memoir of a Minor League Professional Boxer, Glen Sharp.

First up Bob Arum calls into the podcast to discuss the upcoming Wilder fight and the New York Lomachenko card on December 12th at the Garden. Then the champion, the family man, the knock out king, the Bronze Bomber, Deontay Wilder calls in and tells Woodsy all about his plans for Tyson Fury this Saturday. Hear Woods and Ron talk about the current landscape of boxing and how the stars of today match up against the fighters of yesteryear. Let's talk boxing! First up Woodsy talks to 81-5, former WBA lightweight champion of the world, Sean O'Grady, the Bubblegum Kid. The two talk Sean's illustrious history in the ring and as a commentator, the scope of todays boxing talent and the upcoming Hooker v Saucedo WBO junior welterweight title fight taking place in his hometown of Oklahoma City. Then the pride of Long Island, Chris Algieri, calls into TalkBox to discuss his plans for a comeback tour, starting with a bout against Angel Hernandez at the end of November in his hometown of Huntington, NY. In episode 136 Woodsy sits down with journalist, Amazon interviewer, and award-winning documentary filmmaker Brin Butler. The two discuss the Mayweather vs Nasukawa "boxing match" and go in depth on Butler's time spent with heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder. Then TalkBox introduces us to the Staten Island 19-year-old pro boxer, Reshat Mati, looking to represent his country of Albania as a world champion one day.  

The champ is in the building! First up on episode 135 of the TalkBox Podcast, Cassius Chaney, up and coming heavyweight with an unblemished record talks about his upcoming fight on Facebook Fightnight live. Then the one and only, WBO featherweight champ, Heather "The Heat" Hardy steps into the studio fresh off her title win. The two discuss her recent victory over Shelly Vincent on HBO, who she has her eyes on next, the current state of women's boxing and get a congratulatory call from the world famous Gleason's Gym, home of Heather Hardy.

In the second of two episodes this week Woodsy brings in two experts that have been around the sport of boxing a long time. First up is 90 year old boxing enthusiast, Art Lovely. Art regales listeners with 90 years worth of boxing stories and interactions with the sport and various athletes including his favorite boxer Tony DeMarco and his life mission to get DeMarco inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.  Then the one and only Jim Lampley of HBO boxing calls into the studio to discuss what's next for his career, the upcoming final HBO fights and some of his favorite memories from decades of being ringside.

Woodsy went to Bloomingdales' Flagship store in NYC on Saturday 10/20 to meet up with Mikaela. Everlast and Bloomingdales teamed up to offer Get Fit with Boxing taught by #TeamEverlast athlete, Mikaela. She had just led a boxing class to raise money for Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Then Woodsy sits down with Mikaela and asks her about her background, her fight, her team, the Olympics, and more.

Director, Writer, Actor and former amateur boxer Jay Bulger calls in to TalkBox to discuss whose to blame for the death of HBO boxing. This one is full of choice words and they aren't even from Woodsy. Tune in to episode 132 of TalkBox! Except for Max...he might want to skip this one.

Episode 131 welcomes John Lepak to TalkBox. The two talk about the days of Kronk gym and his interactions with the late years of Mike Tyson. Then the man who broke the story about HBO leaving boxing, Wallace Matthews, phones in to discuss the events leading up to the announcement and where fans can turn to get their boxing fix.

We talking boxing! First Julian Rodriguez steps into the studio to discuss a new addition to his family, his resurgence into the sport, dealing with injury and how he plans on bringing back his hammer hands nickname. Then former WBC light middleweight champion and first winner of NBC's Contender Series, Sergio Mora, calls in to talk about the new Contender Series, possible ways to get him back in the ring and who should be up next for Canelo. Episode 130 is not one to miss.

Double down! A second podcast this week from your favorite boxing aficionado Mike Woods. Woodsy sits down with Jr. Golden Gloves National Champion, two-time World Ring Side Champion, Youth Team USA 2016, and new professional boxer Nikita Ababiy. The two, along with boxing enthusiast and psychiatrist Dr. Johnny Lops, discuss Nikita's fighting style, visions for the future, fighters he admires and where his nickname, White Chocolate, came from. All this and more in episode 129.

On this weeks episode of TalkBox Woodsy sits down with community superhero Mike Steadman.
