Wesley Williams has been a member of BDPA since 2001 in Memphis, TN where he was introduced to IT through the High School Computer Competition (HSCC). As a member of the Memphis HSCC team, Wesley competed in the national competition and won 1st place for the first time ever for the Memphis chapter. This sparked an interest in Web development and giving back to community by staying involved with BDPA. Wesley then went on to attend undergrad at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga were he majored in Religious Studies and minored in Communications. After undergrad, Wesley moved to Atlanta, GA to pursue his graduate degree, Master of Divinity which he completed in 2010. As a result of his religious studies, Wesley will be publishing his first book, "The Purpose of Jesus: A Biblical Man or Interpreted Myth" in the Spring 2014. The High School Computer Competition (HSCC) program was founded in 1986 by Dr. Jesse Bemley, of Washington, D.C. What started as a two-team event between the Washington, D.C. chapter and the Atlanta, GA chapter has grown to over 20 teams of high school students from chapters across the nation. It's all designed to introduce our students to the field of Information Technology, encourage them to seek higher levels of education, and groom many of them to become our next generation of IT professionals. As a part of the Atlanta HSCC program, high school students gather each Saturday from January to August to develop expertise in creating web applications.
