At The Movies...10 Years Later

This is our podcast. *SLAP* and that is so you remember it. jBOW and CBax are back to discuss a historical epic that's low on action....but they're cool with it. This was SO CLOSE to being episode 42 it's not even funny. Speaking of not even funny, jBow and CBax hitch a ride to a quirky British comedy that is 90% quirky and 10% funny. Apparently the book (which Chris confirms is excellent) did not translate well. Sadly, as we watched the movie, this is not a review of the book. Reynolds (et abs) crushes it in this totally watchable horror movie from the year that was a thing. When they are on topic, they discuss robot genetalia, awful transit infrastructure, Robin Williams' rambling and Bow's new lift goal of having a gate that looks like his face. Vin Diesel is enjoying some Fast & Furious success, but 10 years ago he was wrescklessly driving a mini-van. Also, is he a Frog-man? Our second movie this year in which a badass has to take care of a bunch of kids in a family comedy, thankfully this one was slightly better thanks to the tireless work of CAPE BABY. jBow and CBax discuss many things while watching the Pacifier, including proper password procedures, letting your SEAL team nap, awful Vice Principals, how to actually pin someone in a wrestling match and falling for one of the single greatest misdirects in cinema history! Tyler Perry is one of the kings of Hollywood (well, Atlanta) and the first brick in that kingdom was laid a decade ago with this film. We had never seen any Tyler Perry films before, so we jumped headfirst into this world and it...was...strange. Another week, another supernatural horror film with a shocking twist. The twist? The movie is actually pretty damn good. jBow and CBax weight in on Keannu Reeves 10 some odd years before "John Wick" kicked all of our asses, and the results were solid.
