24 - Hero (w/ Ryan Walker)
09/10/2014 Duración: 01h05minExactly the type of movie this podcast is for, as revisiting Jet Li's "Hero" was a friggin joy. This week I'm joined by Ryan Walker (@avelanch on twitter) to discuss a movie he laid claim to months ago. So listen in as we talk weapons, artsy fight scenes, subtitles, awful calligraphy teachers, sweet ponytails, ancient Chinese politics, the historical version of "pics or it didn't happen" and what exactly Quentin Tarantino had to do with this movie (spoiler: very little). All that plus IMDB parents guide, fun facts and awards. (NEXT WEEK: "Without a Paddle"

23 - Exorcist: The Beginning (w/ Nobody)
30/09/2014 Duración: 30minSO-LO-EPISO! Once again I find myself back against the wall with Libsyn's storage allotment, so I had to do a quickie episode by myself this week, which worked out well because this movie is arse and I don't want to drag anyone down into hell with me. I discuss Nazi's, stillborn babies, the type or horror I like, Goldeneye (briefly) and compare the awful CGI Hyenas in this movie to the CGI wolves in "The Day After Tomorrow". All that, plus IMDB parents guide, fun facts and I give out a few awards, though the movie deserves none. (NEXT EPISODE: "Hero")

22 - AvP: Alien vs. Predator (w/ Chris Baxter)
24/09/2014 Duración: 01h21minWhoever wins, the audience loses. Chris Baxter (@cbax) guests on the show again as we watch a sci-fi nerd's wet dream: the ultimate showdown between a bunch of Aliens and several inept Predators. Oh, and Humans. So many humans. Listen as we discuss X-ray vision, awesome slides (and why you should use them), whether or not Sigourney Weaver should be trusted, how to react when an alien gives you a gift and we play a game of "Guess that cameo". All that, plus we add to the IMDB Parents Guide, share some fun facts and give out some awards. (NEXT EPISODE: "Exorcist: The Beginning")

21 - Collateral (w/ Wyatt Arndt & Danielle Sanders)
10/09/2014 Duración: 01h12minJamie Foxx (pre-Oscar) teams up with Tom Cruise (pre-couch jump) to bring you a tense thriller that may or may not be the spiritual sequel to "Fight Club". Wyatt Arndt (@TheStanchion) and Danielle Sanders join me this week as we break down how Tom Cruise is the worst assassin ever (if he even exists). We also discuss greasy badass Mark Ruffalo, Bacardi Silver, brilliant morgue workers, awful business ideas and cock-teasing cameos that are hard to forget. All that plus IMDB Parent's Guide, Fun Facts and we give out some awards to the characters of Collateral. (NEXT EPISODE: "Alien vs. Predator")
-
20 - The Village (w/ Ryan Biech)
31/08/2014 Duración: 01h27minTWIST! TWIST! TWIST! M. Night Shymalan makes his (last?) entry on "ATM10" as we watch and review the controversial "film" The Village. Ryan Biech (@ryanbiech) joins me once again as he sets his sights on defending the movie... sort of. I attack the movie... sort of. It's a weird episode as we discuss the auteur's license, twist endings, Bryce Dallas Howard's hotness, Ripley's hotness and the proper term for Adrian Brody's issue. All that plus IMDB parent's guide, fun facts and awards. (NEXT WEEK: "Collateral")
-
19 - The Bourne Supremacy (w/ Michael Jupp)
26/08/2014 Duración: 57minBack before Hawkeye was starring in the Bourne series, Matt Damon proved he was no "Streisand" and completed one of the most solid trilogies in modern cinema. This week we look back on part two. Michael Jupp (@michaeljupp) joins me as we discuss cliche's, bad assassins, shady government cover-ups and how Julia Stiles is the smartest person in the movie. Such a thing has never been said before! All that plus we add to the IMDB parents guide, share some fun facts and give out some awards. (NEXT EPISODE: "The Village")
-
18 - I, Robot (w/ Alex Wolfe)
08/08/2014 Duración: 01h31minStill plugging through Summer '04, and this week a fine film fellow from sunny L.A. joins me as Alex Wolfe (@alahente) Skypes in to chat about robots and Will Smith. We discuss a great many things in this super-sized episode, like robot racism, product placement, how to get a PG rating AND have violent dismemberment and Shia Labouef being awful. All that, plus we visit the IMDB parents guide, share some fun facts and hand out some awards. (NEXT EPISODE: "The Bourne Supremacy")
-
17 - Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (w/ Dave Sprout)
31/07/2014 Duración: 01h06minWhat is there to say about Anchorman? The movie that spawned several catchphrases into our lexicon and made everyone realize how much they loved lamp and feared tridents. My good friend and movie fan Dave Sprout joins me this episode to discuss a movie that doesn't really need discussing, but we do it anyway. We also discuss Anchorman 2, improvisation and the "lost movie", Wake Up Ron Burgundy. All that plus we add to the IMDB parent's guide, share fun facts and give out some awards. (NEXT EPISODE: "I,ROBOT")
-
16 - Spider-Man 2 (w/ Jen Baxter)
18/07/2014 Duración: 01h10minBoth 2004 and 2014 had Spider-Man 2's, and both had some issues. We hindsight the hell out of Sam Raimi's and wonder aloud if it's legacy is tarnished by the bafflingly awful Spider-Man 3? We also discuss Kirsten Dunst (aka the worst), great comic book casting, how Peter Parker's life is awful and how Alfred Molina's Doc Ock is unquestionably the best Spidey villain ever. All that plus IMDB parents guide, fun facts and we give out some awards. (NEXT WEEK: Anchorman)
-
15 - Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (w/ Wyatt Arndt)
01/07/2014 Duración: 01h20min"If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball", and with those Rip Tornian words of wisdom a decade ago, a sport we all played in gym class became "a thing". Wyatt Arndt, my usual co-host on "The Legion of Blogcast" joins me this week, and he brought his raging hate-on for Justin Long. In addition to that, we discuss Ben Stiller's finest role, Vince Vaughn's decade of sametitude, Skillz that Killz, the best referee actor ever, hindsighting Lance Armstrong's cameo and fucking Chuck Norris. All that plus IMDB parents guide additions, fun facts, awards and we play a game of "Ben Stiller: Hollywood Height Chart". (NEXT WEEK: Fahrenheit 9/11. You don't need to watch it)
-
14 - Fahrenheit 9/11 (w/ Nobody)
29/06/2014 Duración: 34minPart interesting documentary, part intense manipulation, this week I do a solo episode on Fahrenheit 9/11. We're going a bit out of order here, because I needed a short episode for months end, so I decided to put this out early in place of "Dodgeball" (coming Tuesday). I didn't like this movie, and it's hard to see the significance of it a decade later when Bush still got re-elected. Still, I don't like politics, and I REALLY don't like being shown graphic footage of war injuries and grieving mothers so a documentarian can get his point across, so I keep this episode brief. Also, I learn to respect R & B singer Shaggy. So that's something. (NEXT WEEK: Spider-Man 2)
-
13 - The Chronicles of Riddick (w/ Chris Baxter)
20/06/2014 Duración: 01h03minRules of being a Necromonger: 1. You Keep What You Kill. 2. No Takesies Backsies. 3. Stupid Helmets are Required. Chris Baxter (@cbax) makes his return to the show as we watch and review Vin Diesel's 2004 passion project. We discuss helmets, lizard-pumas, Judi Dench, gross kissing, future technology and outrunning the sun. All that, plus we play a game of "Chronicle Wars: Riddick or Narnia?", give out some awards, share some fun facts and make some contributions to the IMDB parents guide. (NEXT WEEK: "Dodgeball").
-
12 - Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (w/ Janine Guy)
12/06/2014 Duración: 01h29minFALCONHORSE! This week I'm joined by a Harry Potter fanatic (because I am not) as my longtime friend Janine Guy stops by to discuss the movie in which Harry Potter started to grow up. We discuss how Harry is an asshole, Draco is awesome, names are silly, adults are irresponsible and how people who look like rats, make good rats. All that, plus we add to the IMDB parents guide, look at some fun facts and give out some awards! (Next Week: The Chronicles of Riddick)
-
11 - The Day After Tomorrow (w/ Ryan Biech)
03/06/2014 Duración: 01h25minWhat happens when a rugged climatologist predicts a new ice age will happen in a hundred years or so? Well if it's a Roland Emmerich movie, chances are he's WAY wrong and it happens several days later. Ryan Biech from the "Game Time Decision" podcast (@GTDpod) joins me this week as we discuss CGI wolves, outrunning cold, Sela Ward's cougish hotness, proper character development, hypothermia and what day "The Day After Tomorrow" actually was. All that plus a trip through the IMDB parent's guide, Fun Facts and Awards. (Next Week: "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban"
-
10 - Shrek 2 (w/ Jen Baxter)
27/05/2014 Duración: 53minRemember 10 years ago, when the "Shrek" film franchise kicked ass? So do we. Take a trip back in time with Bow and returning guest host Jen Baxter as they watch a downright wonderful green ogre movie. Before Justin Timberlake and Rumpelstiltskin drove the series into the ground, Shrek 2 was a box office beast. We discuss hair (obviously), indignant furniture, ADORABLE LITTLE BOOTS and donkey/dragon cross breeding. Enjoy! (NEXT WEEK: "The Day After Tomorrow")
-
9 - Troy (w/ Jared Rushton)
20/05/2014 Duración: 59minIt was a time long before Twitter, when making sure your name lived through the ages meant jump-killing everyone in sight and being the only guy around with a clean shaven face. This week, Jared Rushton joins me as we watch and review Wolfgang Peterson's (flop?) "Troy". We ended up watching the theatrical cut, which sucks because the directors cut includes more Ajax, more brutality and more boobs. But that version wasn't No.1 at the Box Office, and rules are rules. It is the will of the gods. NEXT WEEK: "Shrek 2"
-
8 - Van Helsing (w/ Chris Baxter)
14/05/2014 Duración: 01h04minHugh Jackman and his luscious flowing hair does battle with Dracula, The Wolfman, Mr. Hyde, Igor, a trifecta of hell bitches and Frankenstein....'s monster (if you wanna be a dick about it). This week, Chris Baxter from "That Thing You Like" joins me as we watch a movie that is awful, except for one heroic cow that dared to stand up to vampiric tyranny and inspired us to keep watching the garbagewater film that officially kicked off Summer Movie Season 2004. Enjoy!
-
7 - Mean Girls (w/ Brian Shirlaw, Chris Baxter & Jen Baxter)
06/05/2014 Duración: 01h29minOne of two movies that brought about the entire idea for this podcast, it's hard to believe it's been 10 years since Mean Girls. Joining me this week are the boys from "That Thing You Like" (Brian Shirlaw, Chris Baxter) and former guest host Jen Baxter. Listen as we discuss our favourite characters and moments from the film, as well as what it means to be "half a virgin". All that plus awards, fun facts and a trip through the IMDB parents guide. We love this movie. It's the fetchest movie there ever was. Next week: Van Helsing.
-
6 - Man on Fire (w/ Mike Jupp)
29/04/2014 Duración: 58minDenzel Washington is an alcoholic with a dark past, then stuff happens. Butt stuff. It's episode 6, and #ATM10 is taking a look at Tony Scott's revenge epic "Man on Fire". We discuss Marc Anthony's sex appeal, Radha Mitchell's accent and the fact that Dakota Fanning actually made us wish she got rescued from kidnappers. That was a high mountain for this movie to climb, but dammit, it climbed it.
-
5 - Kill Bill: Volume 2 (w/ Casey Bailey)
22/04/2014 Duración: 01h09minThe roaring rampage of revenge comes to an incredibly conversational conclusion, and good buddy Casey Bailey is along for the discussion. 10 years ago, a VERY different film from the over-the-top slash fest that was "Kill Bill: Volume 1" sat atop the box office, and we dive right in. From revenge spit, to white trash oompa lumpas, to awful pimps, coffin punches, psychotic daughters and the infamous eyeball squish, we take you through the talky talky heart exploding finale of the Beatrix Kiddo saga.
