Coming towards the end of the Things That Make You Go 'Hmmm' sermon series, Jen leads the church in looking at the Bible and its' views on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) people and personalities - particularly focusing on attitudes towards homosexuality. Week 8 of the Things That Make You Go 'Hmmm' sermon series, and the third and final week of the mini-series on Salvation. This week Rob looks at the idea of predestination and salvation, answering three questions asked by the congregation in a concise but thorough manner. What is predestination? What about those who have never heard? Can I lose my salvation? As part of the sermon, there was a short clip from the film The Adjustment Bureau (2011), looking at the idea of being predestined and how that related to the idea of free will. The sermon is also supported by photographs of the General Election 2017 battle-bus for each of three political parties (Conservatives, Liberal Democrats & Labour).
