Josh King is Chief Legal Officer at Avvo. He is responsible for the company’s legal affairs and business operations. He is also a frequent writer and speaker on interactive media and professional ethics issues. Prior to joining Avvo in 2007, Josh spent over a decade in the wireless industry, in a mix of legal and non-legal roles: Vice President, Corporate Development at AT&T Wireless, Director of Business Development for Clearwire, and General Counsel for Cellular One of San Francisco. Josh started his legal career as a litigator in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Lawrence Howlett is a digital entrepreneur who has worked for himself from the age of 13 and co-owns a well-established full service web agency in the UK. He was one of the first people in the country to have a Bachelors Degree in Entrepreneurship and now has a portfolio of clients that include Wembley Stadium, Days Inn Hotels and Tesco Mobile. Lawrence is on a mission to help entrepreneurs attract, capture and convert new clients with online marketing.

Kara Ronin is an international business etiquette expert, keynote speaker and founder of Executive Impressions. Kara has spent over 10 years living an international life in Japan, the USA, and Europe including Tokyo, New York, and Lyon, and speaks Japanese as well as French. Kara began her career in business, and has worked for a Japanese trading house and for one of the Big 4 accounting firms in Tokyo as an international tax consultant. 

Mike Pacchione (bonus points if you can pronounce his last name without making a "ch" sound) taught Public Speaking for seven years before starting at Duarte in 2012. Since then, he has facilitated nearly 200 workshops for some of the biggest brands in the world. Carter Thomas has built and sold over 1,500 apps in the last three years while blogging and consulting with developers large and small. His blog has reached millions of readers promoting ambition and thinking outside of the box. When he’s not working on apps, he’s traveling, swimming and giving out high fives.
