This is the last week in our series ‘You Asked For It’ and the most requested message. Are we in the last days? What happens at the end of all things? What does the Bible actually say? Who is the Anti-Christ? When will he rise? What happens to the church? What about the rapture? When does Jesus come back? This week Ps Ben responds to all these questions in a message that is so important for everyone to know.

Is it possible for Christians to worship idols today, or was that just a problem we read about for people in the Bible? How do we avoid making our comforts in the West an idol? If we discover or suspect we may have an idol, what should we do? This week we explore what idols really are, discover how they can find their way into your life more easily than you may think and what to do if you uncover one in your own life.

What is transgender? Does the bible even talk about transgender people? How do we reconcile biblical mission and trans rights? This week Ps Ben answers these questions and looks at how our culture has moved from the unthinkable to the unquestionable.

This week we kick off our ‘You Asked For It Series’ with one of the most requested messages –‘should Christians get vaccinated?’. What does the bible say? Should we just trust God? How do we handle this challenging issue confronting everyone today? This week Pastor Ben answers these questions and more.

One of the greatest lessons we can learn from the persecuted church is to live with our eyes focused on eternity and not just on this life here on earth. When we have this focus the struggles and trials we may experience in our life following Jesus dim away as we continue to focus on heaven and our life with Him in eternity.

Most people have moments in their life where they feel unsatisfied. Maybe you are going through a season at the moment where you feel like something is missing. As Christians we believe that Jesus is sufficient for us. So, what do we do when we feel unsatisfied in our faith? There are two passages of scripture that answer that question in a powerful way. Ps Matt will explore these passages providing a biblical perspective to why you may be feeling unsatisfied.

“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends” John 15:13. As Christians, we have been shown incredible, transformational love. A love so great, that it leaves a mark. So, shouldn’t this be obvious to others? If we understand the impact of this love in our own lives, what should that look like? In this week’s message, Ps Ruth looks at the contagious nature and impact of the love of Christ.

Everyone will find themselves in one of three seasons. You will be single, married or divorced. Some people end up where they want to, others don’t. So how do you handle a season you don’t want to be in? In this weeks message, Ps Ben talks about how to live a full life whether you are single, married or divorced.

God wants every Christian to build the kingdom. This means we give God our time, talents and treasure -but it’s not enough. So, God gave Christians part of himself -the Holy Spirit and distributed ‘Spiritual Gifts’ to enable people to do what would ordinarily be beyond their natural abilities. In our final week of the series, Ps Ben talks about ‘spiritual gifts’, what they are for and the importance of using them.

No one likes a hypocrite, but Christians face challenge of trying to be perfect (sin free) while being fully aware that it’s impossible. Jesus said ‘be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect’ -yeah, right?! Christians are not perfect, but saved by grace through faith in Jesus. The truth is, we need help, we need a guide who helps to instruct us to make good decisions. We need more than a conscience; we need the Holy Spirit. This week Ps Ben talks how to be guided by the Holy Spirit.

Christians are called to be fire starters. When the Holy Spirit fell in Acts 2, the disciples were baptised with fire. Today as Christians, we are carriers of that fire. God wants to do more on earth, but we need to be available for God to work through us. This week our guest, Pastor Taiyo Konda talks about opening up your heart, believing in the miraculous and letting God change the world through us.

If you were to look at a crowd of people, it’s probably hard to know who is filled with the spirit of God and who isn’t. But in first century Christianity, the normal experience was that ‘spirit-filled believers’ spoke in tongues. It wasn’t rare, it was expected. But why would God have anyone speak in tongues? It’s that weird? What’s it for? This week Pastor Ben looks at these questions and unpacks the purpose of Gods power in people’s lives.

The Holy Spirit is third member of the trinity and the churches most powerful ally to advance the Kingdom of God on Earth. From the days of Pentecost to now, He has been setting peoples’ hearts on fire to passionately pursue Gods purpose in their lives. In our new series ‘Fire’ we look at who the Holy Spirit is and how He wants to work through you.

Despite the New Testament being written 2000 years ago, the human heart as not changed. Sometimes our hearts desire things which hold us back from having a close relationship with God. 2000 years ago, the Apostle Paul wrote a letter to a group of new Christians who were trying to change their lives but struggling with wrong sexual desires. He showed them that their values were becoming vices. This is the last week in our ‘Jesus Is’ series and Ps Ben looks at these heart issues and what to do about them.

Whether you realise it or not, God has a plan for your life... but so does the devil. His plan is to stop you from pursuing God's plan. In Christianity, salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus. Since the devil can't change that, he simply hides it. This week Ps Ben looks at how to win the spiritual war that everyone will face.

Many people take for granted the most amazing thing ever. That thing is the gospel message. Humans tend to grow out of love with things that matter. This is called allowing the novelty to wear off. The novelty should never wear off when it comes to salvation. Revelation of our salvation should sustain us through the most difficult times. Coming back to our first love is what we need to do when we drift off course in life. We knew Jesus was enough when we first gave Him our life, and the truth is, nothing has changed.

Have you ever heard the phrase ‘right believing leads to right living’. I think that’s so powerful. So then, you can’t ‘think wrong and live right’ either -because we live out of our beliefs. So, what do we believe about creation, life, purpose, universe or God? The bible says Jesus was God, so what we think about Jesus matters. Our ideas about Jesus shape our identity, relationships, finances and ultimately our future. This month, we start a new series called ‘Jesus Is’ and study the book of Colossians because it gives us the most detailed description of Jesus. If you have ever wondered who Jesus is, this message will change your life.

If I give generously, will God bless me? If I am faithful with giving to God, won’t God give more back to me? Prosperity doctrine presents itself in several different ways, one of those ways being the underlying belief that ‘giving makes you rich’. The bible does not encourage us to pursue wealth, but to pursue Jesus. This week, Ps Ruth looks at the truth behind God’s provision in our lives.
