The only real and lasting LIFE is "in Christ". And surrender to Him and His ways is the key which accesses this LIFE. In simpler terms: surrender is the root which produces obedience. And obeying God's ways leads to ABUNDANT LIFE. Bible: Matthew 5; Numbers 19

Life is all about choices. And God loves to reward righteous choices. He also loves for us to feel the power of our choices, even when they make a mess. Why? - He is the Rewarder of those who seek Him! - He wants us to learn the power of our choices and that He has empowered us clean up our messes. - He makes "all" things serve His purposes for our lives. Our very own, personal, experiences with God create the lens in which we see His activity in our lives. These experiences cultivate faith in us and faith is transformational. Bible: Matthew 16:13-19; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21

"The Law of Original Intent" means: the Creator's original intent for His creation trumps all other intentions for His creation. Therefore, the thief's intentions for us are inferior to God's intentions for us! Bible: John 10:1-10

Many pursue God enough for an imminent crisis to dissipate, but not enough for His Kingdom to come. Therefore, many go from crisis to crisis, instead of glory to glory. The cure? Allow God to be your God and choose to be His people. Bible: Exodus 20:3; Jeremiah 7:23-28

Courage is much more than standing strong in the face of impossible or adverse situations. True courage is an eager desire to obey and please the Lord. This message outlines David's act of courage in defeating Goliath and its effect on the armies of Israel. Bible: 1 Samuel 17

As followers of Christ, our assignment is not to live in knee-jerk reaction to life and its various responsibilities. We are to steward life from the inside-out...from the heart. A prodigal is not only someone who is lost or one who has completely left the faith; a prodigal is also anyone who has strayed from God's original assignment for their lives. This message serves as a cancellation of a prodigal assignment as Jared highlights some truths from Luke 15.

Hebrews 11:6 says, "And without faith, it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and the He is a Rewarder of those who seek Him." Faith and seeking God is not a feeling or an emotion; it is a choice. Therefore; it can be said like this, "God is the Rewarder of those who choose Him." Bible: Matthew 6:1-33

Each day, countless things fight for our attention - for our affection. And each day, we choose what gets it. Love is not a feeling or a desire.
